She smiles and says, “I know there was a reason I missed you, but I can’t remember what it was.” She tells him she can’t work, sleep, or function. She’s been drinking to get wasted, so she doesn’t have to think about things. Bradley looks at her with compassion in his eyes. They start to enter the exhibit and are stopped. The tour guide tells them they’ve had a wasted queue as this is the end, not the beginning. They’ll need to go out and enter in through the Tardis.

Tanya tells the girls their father sat there all smug and reasonable like a little Ginger Buddha. She says to them, “let’s see how reasonable he feels when he realizes his entire family has disappeared!” Abi asks where they are going? Lauren explains she has double art, and she likes it. Tanya angrily tosses a glass across the table and tells both girls not to argue with her. She demands that they go and pack. The girls quickly leave the kitchen.

Abi declares that she won’t as animals can sense stress too. Abi asks Tanya if they will have to choose? Tanya asks her what? Abi replies, “will we have to choose between you and dad? Will you both be in the same room when we have to say? Because I don’t want to. I want to stay, and I don’t want to. I don’t like it when Dad cries.”
Stacey calls out to Bradley and tells him to listen. She explains to Bradley that she’s an idiot. She tells him that it’s just sex. Bradley tells her he doesn’t want to talk about his dad. Charlie comes down the stairs and tells Mo if he had to, and he ain’t, he’d say “older man, with an old car, with an annoying mother-in-law seeks older woman no car needed.” Mo tells him that won’t work as he should talk about his hobbies and things he likes.
Tanya looks at the girls and says she’s a rubbish mom. She is sure they want to trade her in. Tanya moves to the bag of clothes and takes some out to fold again. She tells them she was reading a story about a little kid who got stuck under a car. He’s wedged fast, and there was petrol dripping, and his mum just listed it off in her panic. She cries that she can’t even make them a sandwich. They reassure Tanya that she is not rubbish, and she is clever and beautiful. Tanya wipes her tears away. The girls tell her she’s beautiful, and even dad has said as much. She looks at them and the relay that even their father has said she is the most beautiful woman in the world.
Stacey continues to tell Bradley that it is not about what goes where or how. You can learn all that in a book. It’s about going to sleep safe and waking up safe. I took that for granted, she says, and now it’s gone. She cries that she doesn’t like life without him. She walks off and pushes through the crowd. She sits down in a chair.
The cab arrives, and Tanya explains that it can never be how it was, they do know that right? She tells them that their dad took all those little things, all those normal things, and he played roulette with them. She explains that she can never forgive him. She tells the girls she could never make them choose. She tells them she knows what is important, like having your room and liking double art, being able to call in on your dad. She tells him that one day he’d still make a perfect dad. He hands her the card. She opens it and thanks him for the card. There is a small envelope, and she opens it to find a photo and his ring. He tells her that it’s all dreams. No matter how much she’s faithful, it is still his dad. He tells her that he loves her, but he will never trust her again. She runs off to catch up with him.
