She tells him she will see him at 1 pm. Ronnie walks out, and Phil asks him if he’s had any news on Louise. Jack says no, not yet. Phil wonders why he’s in there chatting up Ronnie. Jack says he’s not chatting her up. Phil tries to get Jack to give him the informants information, and he’ll pay him to find her. Jack refuses and says he won’t because he’s a standing police officer and he’s not doing it for money he’s doing it for him.
Carly gathers the mail as she comes in and spies the trip information.
Stacey finds Bradley at the park. She wonders if he would like to talk. He tells her no because he’s not feeling very talkative. Stacey goes to sit down.
Max is leaving the house and finds a paper pinned to the door. Sean and Tanya are in the kitchen, chatting and flirting. Max barges in and asks her who she thinks she is? Martin Luther? Tanya tells him she knows that is a joke, but she is too stupid to get it. She asks Sean if he gets it. He tells her nope; he’s too stupid too. Max says, “Oh, Sean’s here! What brings you round?” Sean tells him it’s the biscuits. Max wonders if she is disappointed? She says no, why? He tells Sean that he’s being played. She was hoping he would come in, see him, see red and end up in court. He tells him to enjoy his biscuits. Max slams out. Sean asks Tanay if she is using him. She tells him maybe a little bit but not half as much as she’d like to.

Libby comes up, and Darren tells her it will be ok and he will look after her. Shirley finishes drinking and walks over and wonders if Dean is there yet. Phil pulls her to the side and asks her how much she’s had to drink. She tells him not to pull that pot and kettle thing with her. She says no one cares and she doesn’t count today. He wonders why they should? She tells him because she loved him first, and she loved him the most.
Denise and Carly walkout and she tells Carly they may have to go without Dean. Shirley walks up and asks the guard if he has to be in cuffs. The guard just nods, and she tells him that it’s his father’s funeral.
Everyone is loaded up, and they are leaving for the funeral. The hearse breaks down.

Because the only part of me that cared about an apology you cut out with a chisel the day you slept with my wife. Bradley tells him he doesn’t care about him, Max’s family, nothing, not even himself. Max tells him if he doesn’t want to listen to him he understands but living with his mom is a bakcwards step

She says he saw a weak spot and went for it. She wonders if he’s the kind of guy who promises the world to get what he wants.
Carly welcomes everyone. She tells them to go ahead and eat and drink as it looks like they’ll have the wake before the funeral. She says she’s not much for public speaking although her Dad would say it was one of the best things she did, shouting in public. She says that her Dad was just a normal bloke who had this thing inside of him that made him think he needed to be somewhere else or to be something else. He shouldn’t have been selling crappy cars in Walford. He should have been tramping up some mountain or something. But the thing is he never did. The post came this morning, and there was the pair of tickets for a trip around the world that he had planned for him and Dean. And it made me really sad, she says. She says that she and Denise have decided that they are going to go and take Kevin’s ashes on the trip. She tells them all that they are going tomorrow. Everone looks around as if they are shocked. She asks them to raise their glasses in a toast to her wonderful Dad.
Jack gets a text.
Dean comes in and asks her if she was going to tell him. Does he wonder if he thinks that their Dad would want his ashes scattered in Hackney or Honolulu? He tells her that he doesn’t feel like there is anything for him to come back there for with their Dad gone. She tells him that she and Denise have talked about it and they want him to join them. He tells her that is a little hard right now as he raises his cuffs. She tells him when he gets out, and he can link up with them. Dean wonders how he can afford that? Carly tells him she has some savings from her divorce from Nicco. He hugs her. Pat calls out to Carly that they have to get her Dad to the crematorium within the hour or it will have to be put off until tomorrow.
Bradley says goodbye to Dot and tells her he will come to see Granddad soon. Dot tells him that he loves seeing him. Bradley leaves a note for Dot.
Max comes home and finds a note to leave the girls alone. Tanya tells him to leave them alone as they are upset. He asks her what that is supposed to mean? Tanya tells him it’s pretty clear, isn’t it? He asks her what right she has to tell him what he can and cannot do with his own kids? Tanya tells Max that it was right about the same time he slept with his sons’ wife. He throws her, bringing Sean into it. He wonders about what will happen if she starts sleeping with Sean Slater? She asks him what makes him so sure she hasn’t> He tells her, “what? Can’t I talk to my own kids? My sons just told me he’s leaving and I have to come home to this?” Lauren runs down and tells them to stop. Max apologizes and says they will calm down. Lauren tells him he has to go, and he has to go now.
Dot catches up with Rachel and asks if she’s seen, Bradley? She says he’s upstairs. Dot tells her no, he left earlier and left this note for her. She tells Rachel he’s gone off on his own. The note reads that he’s so sorry for not going with his mum. He says he is going to spend some time on his own. He can’t think straight in Walford and hopes she can understand. He apologizes for leaving her on her own, especially with Granddad being ill. He tells her to send Granddad his love. He tells her to not worry about him, and he’ll be back very soon.
Chelsea yells at the funeral director asking why they haven’t got a contingency plan for this kind of thing. Denise tries to calm her down. Chelsea tells her that she’s surprised she isn’t packing her suitcase! Denise looks at Pat and asks what she’s done now? Pat tells Denise that Carly announced the trip. Carly apologizes.
Jane looks at Ian and tells him if this is going to work then he’ll have to bunk with Peter and Bobby. It’s not fair on Lucy to share her room. Ian is confused. She tells him she knows it’s what he wants.
Jack pulls Phil away. Phil tells him that he’s in the middle of a funeral. Jack tells him he’s found his daughter. Ronnie smiles.
Darren solves the issue and tells them they are going to carry Kevin to the crematorium. Denise wonders what they are doing. He tells her. Dean, Patrick, Mickey, Massood, Darren, and Steven carry Kevin’s casket through the square.
