Everyone listens as Max talks about how he can’t stand to see Stacey with another man. He couldn’t stand seeing Jack kiss her. Everyone is dumbstruck by what they have witnessed. Lauren runs off upstairs, and Max declares this a joke. Tanya sends Abi upstairs. Max begs Stacey to chime in on how this is a gag they set up. Max says he and Stacey set this up this gag to show Bradley on their honeymoon. Bradley doesn’t think it looks like a joke. Tanya is confused as to why they just watched Max and Stacey snog. He tries to tell them all it is just a bad joke. No one is saying anything. Tanya demands that they turn the video back on. She struggles to get the remote to turn it back on. Max begs Stacey to tell them it’s a joke. Stacey looks at Bradley and says she is sorry. Bradley attacks Max and tells him he will kill him. Tanya tells Jack to keep Max away from her. Bradley yells at Stacey and Max to stay away from him. Sean stops Stacey from going after Bradley.
Max sees Abi and tells her that it was just a joke and he’ll sort it. Abi is upset. Max tells Abi he’ll come up and make everything alright. He will explain. Stacey tells Max that Bradley is going to do something foolish. Jack goes after Bradley. Max says he has to talk to Tanya. Mo lays into Stacey and Charlie tells Stacey they should go. Jean can’t handle what she’s seen and doesn’t believe it’s real. She says they can’t leave as they are guest. She picks up her present and says she had that same thing last year and it didn’t work. Charlie tries to get Jean to leave, but she says she can’t as she’s a guest. She tells Stacey it wasn’t real, was it? Stacey tells her it wasn’t. Jean realizes it was real. She freaks out and goes in and out of reality. Stacey begs Sean to help, and Jean screams out, “I like it here!”
Tanya is in the kitchen holding her head while crying. Max comes into the kitchen. She’s in a panic. He reaches out to her, and she demands he keeps away. She runs out of the kitchen and Stacey tries to talk to her. Tanya demands they keep away and she rushes upstairs. Mo tells them to thank you for a lovely lunch. Dot wonders about the girls. She cries out, “those poor little girls” as Max looks at her.
Jack is searching for Bradley. He hears him getting sick and rushes to him. Jack tries to take him home. Bradley tells him he doesn’t want to go home. Jack tells him he needs to talk to Stacey as it might not be what he thinks; it might not be Stacey’s fault. Jack takes him for a drink.
Tanya goes into Lauren’s room. She asks her if it is real. Lauren tells her mum that it is and she didn’t know what to do with it. Tanya calls her a nasty little brat. Lauren pleads with her mum that it wasn’t like that. Max was so mean to her, and she wanted to hurt him for what he’d done to her. Tanya lashes out “what you wanted to punish me with it?” She realized it was wrong, but she didn’t know what to do. Tanya tells her she could have come to her. Tanya tells her it’s not her fault. It’s all, Max. Tanya tells both girls to stay in the room for her. Abi comforts Lauren.
Stacey wants to explain everything to Tanya. Max says they need to get their story straight. Tanya comes down the stairs and says, “oh look the happy couple” Stacey follows Tanya into the sitting room begging her to hear her. Stacey says she’s sorry. Tanya says, “for what? For wrecking a home? For ruining my family? You should have thought about that before you dropped your knickers for that.” Stacey begs her to listen and tells her that Max loves her and the girls. Stacey tells her it’s her fault, she started it, and I didn’t mean to break up your family.
Tanya tells her she must have been laughing at her! All those girly chats, doing your hair, giving you advice before your wedding and slipping off into bed. Stacey tells her it wasn’t like that; it wasn’t. It was just a fling, and it meant nothing. Tanya asks her what it was like then? Romantic walks along the river? Stacey tells her she’s sorry. Tanya says, “Oh well, poor, you, my heart bleeds for ya!” Stacey says she is sorry again and Tanya smacks her hard across the face. Tanya looks at Stacey and tells her, “now you’ve got a tiny little inkling of what it feels like in here,” as she points at her heart. She tells Stacey to get out of her house, and she never wants to see her face again. Stacey runs off. Sean follows Stacey out of the room.
Tanya looks at Max and tells him she doesn’t want to look at him for another second. He asks her to listen. Tanya kicks him out of the room and slams the door. Stacey asks Max what can she do about Bradley? Max heads off to find Bradley. Stacey cries to Sean to please tell Tanya she’s sorry and she never meant to hurt her or the kids. She tells Sean that Tanya will listen to him. Sean calms Stacey and sends her home after hugging her. He tells Stacey he will come home after he makes sure Tanya is alright.
Tanya is playing the video again. She is in shock as she listens to the words.
Dot looks at a photo of Stacey and Bradley. She picks up the phone to call someone (presumably Jim) but hangs up and cries. The bell rings.
Stacey comes home to the Slaters and hears them discussing her. Jean thinks this will all blow over, and they’ll wake up in the morning, and it will all be ok.
Tanya is still rewatching the video. Sean brings her a cup of tea and turns off the video. Tanya wonders how things could get any worse. She says she had no idea and she feels so stupid. Sean tells Tanya that Stacey feels terrible. She asks Sean if Stacey ever said anything to him as they are so close. Sean tells her no. Tanya starts to have a panic attack and cries out “what am I going to do?” over and over. She kisses Sean, and he stops her and tells her this is not what she wants. Tanya sits up and says, “what am I going to do?” She tosses Sean out. The baby starts to cry, and she stands there shaking.
Max arrives at Dots looking for Bradley. He tells Dot he wants to talk to him and make sure he’s ok. Dot tells him it’s a bit late for that innit? Max tells her it’s not what it looks like. Dot tells him that she brought up a liar and a thief. She knows a liar and thief when she sees one. She quotes scripture about all things being revealed. Max needs to make sure Bradley is alright. Dot tells him it’s his duty as a father. She tells him that Jim was right in everything he ever said about Max. He told her from that start that he was nothing but trouble.
Bradley asks Jack what he’s going to do. Jack tells him that he’s going to find out the truth and deal with it. Jack orders another double for Bradley. Jack tells him he’ll be right back. Jack walks outside. Max walks and says, ” So Golden boy have you found him?” Jack tells him he’s on his second double. Max makes his way to talk to Bradley, and Jack tries to stop him. Jack yells at him, “she’s your daughter-in-law! She’s five years older than Lauren!” Max yells at him, “don’t you think I know that?” Jack tells him that whatever he’s got, whatever it was it ain’t worth what you have to lose. Jack tells him he knows because he’s lost all of that. They argue some more, and Jack tells Max that he’s trying very hard to help him. He reminds him that whatever he thinks he’s still his brother. He tells Max that he’s got to go in there and speak to his son because he’s in a very, very bad place.”
Jean is going on about how this wasn’t Stacey’s fault. He made her do it. Jean wonders where Sean was? Why wasn’t he looking after her? That’s what she wants to know! Without their dad here, it falls to Sean to take care of her since she’s worthless. Stacey says she needs to look for Bradley. Jean says yes she does as she can’t lose sweet Bradley.
Max walks into the Vic and tries to speak with Bradley. Bradley breaks a bunch of glasses and falls. The bar is unaware of what is happening and thinks Bradley can’t hold his drink. Peggy tells Max he should take him home. They go to leave when Peggy hands him the keys he’s forgotten. Bradley points to Stacey’s photo and says that she is a slut. Max pushes Bradley out of the pub and into the square.
Bradley tells him not to touch him again. He can take him even though he is younger than him; he is stronger. They argue, and Max tries to get him to listen to him. Bradley goes to his apartment. Max tries to comfort him, and Bradley tells him to leave him alone.
Tanya is holding herself as Oliver cries. She ignores the cries. She takes a breath and pulls open a drawer and opens a bottle of pills. Abi catches her and asks her what she is doing! Tanya tells her nothing. She has a headache. Abi tells her mum she is scaring her. Tanay tells her to go back to her room and pack a bag.
Max explains the affair to Bradley. He tells him when it started and how Stacey threw herself at him the night Bradley dumped her. Max tells him he couldn’t resist her. Bradley asks him why he couldn’t think about him. Bradley puts it all together. Bradley tells him, “you said she wasn’t right for me!” Max tells him, “well, I was right, wasn’t I?” Bradley realizes what his dad has done by not denying Stacey and sleeping with her. Max tells him it was while they were done. He tells Bradley if he wants to blame anyone then blame him because Stacey has a good heart. He tells him that Stacey loves him.
Stacey goes to Dots looking for Bradley. Dot tells her she can’t look at her right now. Stacey begs Dot to tell Bradley she loves him. Dot tells her she’s thrown the best thing in her life away and for what?
Max begs for another chance. He tells Bradley he’s still his little boy. Bradley tells him his mum was right; he’s nothing to him. He tells Max not to worry as he has another little boy now. He has a lot of time to plan on how to rip his heart out. He’s done it twice to him, once when he was a little boy and now he’s come back to finish him off. Bradley says the only thing worse is now he’s lost, Stacey. Max says he doesn’t have to. He should give her another chance.
Tanya is packing bags when Lauren and Abi walk in. Tanya tells them it will be ok and they should go downstairs to wait for her.
Max comes out of Bradley’s and sees Stacey on the street. He tells her that Bradley is in the apartment and he did his best but he’s sorry.
Max comes into his house and sees Lauren and Abi standing there. He asks them where their mum is. He hears the baby crying and goes upstairs.
Stacey enters the apartment. She holds up her keys to Bradley.
Max asks Tanya what she is doing? She tells him she is leaving him. Max begs her not to do this. The scuffle and he pushes and pulls on Tanya. Tanya falls down the stairs and lands at the bottom to the girls screaming. Tanya is not moving.
