Kevin is walking towards the car lot and suddenly looks shocked. Phil watches the square from the Vic window. Ronnie wants to know why her builders are downstairs and not in her club. He says they are needed to make repairs. She tells him Jason Dyer is responsible not her. Phil brushes her off and watches as Kevin kicks around broken glass.

Pat likes Steven’s new sign. He’s pretty proud of it. Bradley and Stacey discuss the missing case and his job loss.

Billy and Honey discuss flats. He tells her not to worry he’ll sort it. He doesn’t want his kids going through what his kids went through. He tells her to look after the baby, and he’ll sort it.

Peter asks to go pick up Lucy from school. Ian tells Peter he’s got to deal with it as it’s his French exchange student, Monique. They try to talk to her in bad broken french.

Kevin comes in with Pat, and she puts the kettle on while asking him questions about why his cars got busted up. She asks if he knows who did it. He thinks it’s kids. She tells him kids don’t go that far and asks if he has wound anyone up lately. They discuss Phil and the cars, but he turned him down. He doesn’t think he would do it as he’s a mate. Kevin isn’t so sure now.

Max is attempting to help Bradley find a job in sales. Bradley doesn’t think he’s up to it. Max tells him he can do it. He tells him not to be afraid to assert himself. Bradley thanks him.

Ian is looking at a drawing of Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and fish and chips. He ask Monique if she wants to see all of this. He ask her if she wants to eat some frittes, he owns a frittery. She laughs and speaks English. Marie phones and wonders when Ian is coming to the cafe. Jane says she can go. Ian demands she rest. Peter tells him he and Monique will come to the cafe with him. Monique asks Peter why his mother always needs to rest. Peter tells her that she was shot and she is not his mother.

Kevin accuses Phil of smashing up his cars. Phil asks him why he would do that? Kevin tells him because he knocked him back yesterday. Phil tells him there is only one reason he doesn’t give him a smack in the mouth and its the same reason as yesterday because they are mates. Phil asks Ronnie where he was last night. She says he was watching tv in the lounge until about midnight when he fell asleep and started snoring. Kevin apologizes. Phil tells him to go by the arches to see if Minty can help him out. Kevin heads off. Billy comes in telling Ronnie he knows how he can help in the club. He tells him he can be a bouncer. She tests him out and tricks him. Phil calls Minty and tells him to mark up the cost by 50% on whatever Kevin needs.

Steven is on his store. He sees Peter and Monique come out and smiles at them. She asks who that is and Peter tells her it’s his brother. She asks if he lives with them and he says no.

Bradley tells Stacey he’s got a job interview after she asks him why he’s dressed up in a suit. He tells her it’s in sales. She tells him he’s not his dad. Stacey tells him he doesn’t have to do this. Bradley tells her it could be the beginning of something bigger and better.

Minty is at the car lot talking to Kevin about the windows. Kevin asks Minty how much it’s going to run. Minty tells Kevin it’s two and a half grand. Kevin is shocked and asks Minty for the best mate-rate. Minty tells him that is the rate. Kevin shakes his head and tells him he can’t do it. Minty tells him he should let the insurance handle it. Kevin tells him it’s two grand on his side. Minty apologizes.

Phil goes to see Jase. He tells Jase he came to thank him for doing a good job. Phil pulls out money and pays him for the job. Phil tells him he has another job for him. Jase says no and Phil puts him against the wall and tells him he’s not done until he tells him he’s done.

Shirely tells Heather to cheer up and clear out. Heather tells her she can’t help it if she’s depressed. She is sad that Garry is probably going to find the woman of his dreams on holiday. She says that the deadline is today for the competition deadline. Minty and Hazel are not keen on entering it. Minty doesn’t want the wedding cheapened, and he is no media tart. Shirley tells them she didn’t think 20 grand was nothing to swing at.

Monique asks about Steven. Peter tells her all about him. She tells him that it’s complicated.

Kevin and Pat talk about the car lot and repairs. He asks her about it and she tells him she doesn’t have any cash as she’s lent it to Steven for his new stock. Kevin asks what new stock is she talking aobut. Outside on the store Steven is unpacking boxes as Stacey watches on. Meanwhile, Bradley sits outside waiting on his interview.

Heather comes rushing into the office of the magazine. The receptionist makes it known she’s nearly 3 hours late and no exceptions. Heather is devastated.

Bradley interviews for the job and tells the boss he’s ready for the job as sitting behind a desk wasn’t for him. He goes over the details and asks Bradley if he’s ready.

Kevin walks up to the car lot to find Jase painting it. He tells him he didn’t know anything about it. Jase tells him he’s doing it on Phil’s orders. Kevin is thankful. Phil calls Jase and tells him he missed a spot.

Stacey is upset as Steven is selling clothing and Stacey asks him about it as Deano did not have clothes. She sees Bradley walking up, and he looks sad. He tells Stacey he didn’t take the job.

Monique, Peter, Lucy and Lauren are playing video games. She asks about Steven. Ian comes in and asks Monique if she wants to go to the movies. She comes back and tells Peter, and he asks if she wants to. She says not with his dad.

Max comes in and yells at Bradley for not taking the job. Bradley apologizes but tells his Dad that it wasn’t for him and he hated everything about it. Max tells him that sometimes you have to do what you don’t like. How else is he going to pay for the flat? Stacey comes in and tells Max that they won’t be paying for the flat. He asks if they are willing to lose the deposit. She tells Max it’s better than spending money they don’t have on a flat.

Peter, Monique and Steven come to hang out at Pat’s. Steven calls Peter a daddy’s boy. Monique flirts with Steven but he tells her she is too young.

A impromptu engagement party is happening at the Vic for Minty and Hazel. Kevin talks to Phil about the cars and Phil tells him that ship sailed. Phil tells him he can see if he can call in a favor. Phil tells him that he can get some in if Kevin is willing. Heather gets a call letting her know that Minty and Hazel are in the contest.

Ian calls Peter and he lies and says that he and Monique are at Laurens. Ian tells him not to be out too late as he’s looking at Lucy and Lauren.

Phil compliments Jase on a job well done. He offeres him a job with a lot of cash. Jase thinks about it.

Ian bust into Pat’s and catches someone smoking. He accuses Peter and Monique tells the truth that it was her. Ian sends them home. He yells at Steven. Steven tells him he’s pushed him in a corner and he can’t keep his family away from him.

The crowd is celebrating at the Vic with Minty and Hazel. Outside someone takes a bat to Steven’s stall.
