April 7, 2019 Episode 1 (UK Original Air Date November 12, 2007)

Jase and Jay are playing soccer and hit the ball against the Vic. Roxy comes out and asks them what they are doing. She and Jase have a bit of flirty banter, and he and Jay head off. They stop at Stacey’s store and Jase eyes a shirt. Mo tells him it’s 30 quid. Jase asks for the special discount, and she tells him it’s 29.99. Mo tells Jase that he can always pay her in kind. She whispers something in his ear, and he smiles broadly, tells her he’ll have to mull it over and walks away. Jase asks him what that was about. Jase tells him he’ll tell him when he’s 21.

Dawn is coming out of the cafe with her new buggy. Jase helps her out. She thanks him and asks how it’s holding up. She apologizes for the other night getting sick. He motions he was meaning the buggy. Dawn tells him it’s great and she’ll have to find him some other things for him to put together. She heads off. Jay asks how much he fancies her. Jay pretends to kiss his hand and says “Dawn oh Dawn.” Jay asks his dad who he fancies better Dawn or Roxy. Jase tells him he’ll pop his ball in a minute.

Ian gets the post and sees an envelope from the clinic holding Steven. Jane asks Ian how it was, and he tells her that Bobby scared the life out of him jumping in the deep in. Ian opens the envelope and sees it says final invoice. Jane asks him how long it’s going to be like this… distant. Ian tells her he is really trying. She tells him the nurse is going to pop round and wouldn’t he like to be there? He tells her he does and just needs to run to the cafe really quick.

Steven is going on about how Ian treated him. Pat tries to calm him down. Steven tells Pat he will turn himself in if it makes his dad respect him more. Pat tells him no, and not to do anything until she gets back. She takes Terrance for a walk.

Garry comes out of the flat yelling up to Minty and his Mum that they aren’t teenagers. He shares his misery with Gus. Gus asks him if he could walk Wellard. Pat comes out and asks Garry if he could walk Terrance as well. She hears Ian on the phone saying “he’s discharged himself??” He sees Pat and asks if she’s seen him. Pat tells him no. He starts walking towards her house. He screams at the door for Steven to open the door. Steven hides on the other side of the door. Ian demands Pat open the door. She does, and Ian starts searching the house for Steven. Pat tells him that Steven is just a frightened boy. They argue and make their way to the kitchen where Steven has left a note saying he’s sorry. Ian leaves and just misses Steven walking down the square. Ian comes into his house, and Jane lays into him for missing the nurse. She tells him she needed him.

The club is being cleaned out in preparation to open as Ronnie’s club. The sign comes down. Jay notices that there could become work at the club. Jase asks them about some work, and Roxy tells him they have it covered. Ronnie tells Jase that they do need some help and asks him to come to talk to the site manager. Roxy is holding Alfred and Jay tells her it’s not true what they say about dogs and their owners.

Billy is looking at the calendar. Honey tells him that her due date is today. She tells him they could go to the Argy Bargy for some spicy food to help the baby come along. Billy tells her he’s trying to hang on to every penny. Honey is disappointed.

There is a knock on the door, and Ian asks who is there. It’s Pat who comes in and tells him he doesn’t have to worry he’s not a psycho. Ian tells Pat that if she has any respect for him, Jane or the kids she’ll tell Steven never to set foot in Walford again.

Garry is out in the park with Wellard and Terrance having a chat with them. Keith walks up and asks Garry if he’s talking to himself again. Roxy walks up with Alfred and tells them all that there is a new Daddy in town. Keith tells her that Ghingis is clearly top dog. Garry argues that Wellard is the top dog as he’s been wetting lamppost for over 13 years around the square. Roxy points out that Alfred is the only dog still in tact. Garry asks if she is going to get him snipped. She says not a chance and he can have his way with all the girl dogs. Keith tells her that it is not responsible dog ownership. Garry makes a fuss about the unwanted puppies being abandonded and makes Roxy think. he tells her to get him snipped.

Jay comes around and tells his dad that there is some good stuff in that bin cart. Jay tells his dad he’s going to knick some later. Jase tells him not to get caught. Dawn walks by, and Jase asks her out for later.

Billy comes in and watches Honey and Janet. Honey tells him that Janet has been rubbing her belly. Honey is worried that they haven’t talked about if something is wrong with the baby. Billy tells her not to worry as they’ll love it the same. They start to kiss, and a woman comes in and starts measuring the windows. It’s Ms. Patel who’s bought the shop downstairs. She tells them she will need access before they move out. Honey looks at Billy and says “move out!”

Steven comes home, and pat yells at him that she’s been worried sick. Steven tells her that he is going home. She asks if she should call Simon and tell him. He tells her not to.

Honey wonders why Billy didn’t say anything. They are upset because they won’t have a home and Peggy confirmed Phil did sell it all. Billy has an interview for a job and Honey tells him to go ahead and go. She will be alright, and she knows he’ll make everything ok.

Jay comes up with cash in hand and Jase has been paid as well. he tells him that he’s going to get that shirt.

Peggy confirms that Roxy must get Albert neurtered.

Steven is packed up. Pat tells him that whatever happens there will always be a place for him at her home.

Lucy wants to go to the cinema. She throws a right fit and he agrees to take her himself. He locks everything up.

Jase is sporting his new shirt and Dawn is nervous for their date. They head off for their date. Two of his old mates meet Bird at the tube station. In the pub Dawn and Jase come in for their date as Roxy is making drinks in honor of Alberts neutering. She’s disappointed that he’s on a date with Dawn. Jase orders his usual and an Albert Memorial for Dawn. Garry, Minty, and Gus are watching the date and sending bad thoughts for the date.

Billy, Honey, and Janet come to live with Peggy until they can find a place. Peggy tells her she was just as shocked at what Phil had done. Terry’s gang are outside the Vic and bumps into Bird. Billy notices them all putting on gloves. Bird tells him to keep walking.

Jane comes downstairs and calls out for Ian. She hears the gate creak and goes out to check.

Jase and Dawn are having a good date, and Roxy sits down. She tries to bust up the date. Dawn is put off. Jase apologizes. Terry’s gang member sticks his head in the door and confirms Jase is there. Garry comes in and tries to nuzzle in on the date. Jase stands up and says they should go somewhere else. They leave the pub and Dawn makes him promise no small talk.

Jane is making tea when Steven burst in and tells her he just wants to say he’s sorry.

Jase and Dawn come in, and Mickey and Keith offer to leave for the right price. They head off to the pub and Dawn and are alone at last. Jase makes a move, and Dawn stops him as she’s nervous.

Jane grabs her phone. Steven stops her. Jane yells at him that she can’t forgive him. He tells her he never meant to hurt her. Jane is angry as he’s changed her life forever. Ian comes in and throws Steven out.

Jase and Dawn are on the sofa chatting. Dawn wants to know if this is a one-off or boyfriend/girlfriend. He tells her why don’t we see. He kisses her. Meanwhile, Terry’s gang make their way to the Vic. They stand at all the doors and Terry motions to go in on three.
