Jean tries to wake Sean with a cup of tea. He finally awakes but is confused. Jean wonders if he is staying and he says just for a bit. The post comes through the door which thrills Jean.
Mo grabs their post and sees her supplier outside. She orders him around the corner. Roxy speeds by.
Max reads a postcard from Bradley. Tanya complains about how fast and how many times Roxy has driven around the square. Lauren says Roxy could drive them to school and they wouldn’t have to walk. Tanya notices the postcard. Abi romanticizes about what Bradley and Stacey are doing on their honeymoon. Lauren says they are doing it nonstop because that is what people do on their honeymoons. Max gets angry and says he will wash her mouth out with soap.
Roxy pulls up blaring music. Jay is explaining to his dad again about what happened with Terry. Jay ask him how many times is he going to have to explain it. Roxy pulls off, music still blaring and has to slow down because of Jack. Ronnie watches from the window.
Pat helps get Bobby, Peter, and Lucy off to school. Lucy wants to stay home and watch over Jane. Pat tells them that she and Ian will be there to take care of her. Lucy is still reluctant to leave.
Jean is reading her postcard to Sean. Jean offers to make Sean some toast. Jean is worried about Bradley about being out in the sun since he’s so pale. Jean then goes on about how she could make him an egg in a toast. Sean asks her about her pills as she’s going on a bit. Sean goes to fill the kettle, and Jean lets him know it’s broken. Sean goes to leave, but Jean tells him her story about how the council doesn’t help her and sometimes makes fun of her. He says he will fix her taps. She says she still has his dad’s toolbox. Jean asks Sean if she should call the hotel to remind Bradley about sunscreen. Sean sighs and tells her no.
Dot and Honey are discussing a story in the paper. Jase is doing laundry and notices the article in the paper. In the background Dot and Honey keep chatting, and Jase looks disturbed.
Jane is home, and Ian helps to get her settled. She is in extraordinary pain. She notices the house is clean and Ian says they tried to keep it clean. Ian hands her the remote, and she tells him she wants to sit quietly with him. He says he has to get back to the cafe. Jane is disappointed. He doesn’t quite notice.
Jase is watching and notices someone put something through the post door. It’s a brown envelope with a photo of his friend who was attacked. A note was included that says “See what we did for you,” and RAT was written across his friends’ photo.
Tanya and Pat are in the cafe. Tanya wants to see Jane, but Ian puts her off saying she is not ready. He gives a bunch of excuses and Tanya pushes back saying she is her mate she knows Jane. Ian snaps at Tanya and says it’s more about what Jane wants. Ian is right grumpy and has a go at Billy for taking a break. Pat tells Ian he should be at home with Jane. Ian says he needs to be working as keeping Steven in that place is costing him a fortune. Pat tells him so long as it all doesn’t drive him into the ground and avoiding his wife.
Roxy finally stops driving around. Ronnie tells her she should take the car back and put the money into the club. Roxy tells her she deserves it for all she went through. Ronnie asks her what exactly did she go through. Roxy tells her she didn’t have to snog him. Ronnie tells her to take the car back, and Roxy refuses.
Pat is with Jane and tells her that Tanya was asking about her. Jane says that everyone has been so nice with the cards and what. Pat tells her everyone misses her. Jane smiles. Pat tells her it will take some time to get back to her old self. Jane says she doesn’t even know who that is anymore. She asks her about Steven, but the conversation is cut short. Pat says she needs to get back to the cafe
Mo is going through the things dropped off and it was not what she ordered. She’s frustrated when the bell rings. It’s the police.
Jean chats with Sean about his future and getting married and having children. Jean is happy that he’s there and that they are all a proper family now. Jean talks about Tanya and how beautiful she is and that she has proper manners. She says that Tanya told her how much she loves Stacey. It made her feel proud of being Stacey’s mum. Jean says she doesn’t like Max much and she notices that Sean doesn’t either. Jean says that she feels like that Max doesn’t think Stacey is good enough for Bradley. Fireworks go off and make her jump. Sean threatens to go out and talk to them. Jean starts talking about Max again, and Sean tells her to pick a topic and stick to it. Sean is frustrated, and Jean says she can do what she likes in her own house.
Dot and Tanya are chatting in the Vic. Tanya tells her she has some cards from the girls to take to Jim. Jack offers to carry Dot’s bags home. Dot can’t say enough nice things about Jack, and it gets under Max’s skin. Peggy comes down with Roxy who has offered to drive Peggy to the wholesaler and take the dog to the vet. Ronnie is a bit upset as it’s just her and Tracey then on the bar. Peggy tells her that she’s called in Shirley.
Jase goes to the hospital to visit his friend.
Ian leaves the cafe and looks up at his house. He catches Billy playing kickball with a potato. Ian is right mad and tells Billy they will have a proper meeting in the cafe later. Billy tells him there should be some fizzy water if it’s a proper meeting.
Jane is at home and bored. She calls Tanya.
Ronnie meets with the estate agent about the club. He tells her that there has been another offer for the club. Ronnie asks why he’s just telling her now. He says he had to discuss it with Miss Allen first. He tells Ronnie it’s going to take another 5-6 grand to obtain the club. She tells him she doesn’t have it. He tells her that she’s lost it then. Ronnie tells him to go back and tell her to give it to her. He tells her that she needs to go in and get her things out and give him the keys back. He tells her that he knows it is a disappointment, but he can talk it over with her at dinner. Ronnie tells him she’d rather stick needles in her eyes.
Sean fixes the taps and Jean is pleased. He asks if she has any coffee. Jean notices some of her pills are missing.
In the hospital Jase’s ex-girlfriend comes in and asks him if he’s come to gloat.
Jean asks Sean if he took her tablets. He tells her that he did because how else did she think they were getting on so well. He drops the tools, and it makes a big noise. She tells him not to do that as he knows she hates loud noises. She asks him why he hates her so much. He tells her because she makes it so easy. She slaps him and cries in pain as it’s her hurt wrist. She tells him to stop it. A knock is at the door, and it’s the police.
Pat comes in to a room and says “it’s only me.” She looks down and says “Hello Steven.”
