March 10, 2019 Episode 1 (UK Original Air Date October 30,2007)

Stacey is applying her make up when Sean walks in. She asks him what he wants, and he says its more about what she wants. She says that she has a room full of clucking hens downstairs. He holds up her phone and says you never know when you’ve won the game, or haven’t. Stacey looks shocked.

Jase walks into the flat looking for Jay. He hits play on the answering machine, and it’s Terry wondering where he was last night. He tells him he doesn’t like people who let him down, and reminds him he knows the rules. Jase frantically calls Jay.

Sean asks Stacey who Jerry is. When she doesn’t answer Sean, threatens to call him. Stacey admits that it’s the married man she was seeing when she and Bradley were broken up. Sean says it doesn’t add up. Stacey tells him that he came back and she sent him packing as she told him she loved Bradley and was marrying him. Sean says they should call him anyway. He finally hands the phone back to her. Sean and Stacey argue about whether Bradley will believe her when she’s giving her vows. They continue to argue, and Sean tells her that he doesn’t want her making mistakes or throwing her life away. Bradley interrupts them but doesn’t hear what they are arguing about.

Ronnie and Roxy are discussing shoes and paying off Auntie Peg’s debts. They discuss Jack and Ronnie tells her that he’s way out of her league. Roxy says a man hasn’t been born yet that is out of her league.

The Masood’s are getting ready for Syed and they all notice how nervous Zainab is about everything being perfect.

Jase is on his way out to find Jay when he finally comes in the door. Jase is harsh with him and Jay doesn’t understand.

Over at the pub Roxy flirts with Jack, but he seems to only have eyes for Ronnie. Bradley’s stag night is starting off with a bang. Stacey calls Max and tells him about Sean finding the phone. Max is not worried and hangs up on her.

Shabnam explains to Tam that Kevin thought Syed was dead. Tam wonders if their mum has actually spoken to Syed. Shabnam says she isn’t sure. Tam worries he won’t show up.

Jay finishes his homework in record time. He tells his Dad he must be one of those child prodigies. Jay is heading out when Jase tells him that they’ll have a pizza and movie night.

The Masood’s are at the table, but Syed has not arrived. Zainab thanks Mas for allowing Syed to come over. Tam asks if she’s actually spoken to him. She tells them he will come. The bell rings, and she tells Tam to go and let his brother in. Turns out to be a salesman. She is visibly upset and says that he will be there.

The bachelor party is in full swing, but Sean is in a foul mood. As they all joke about Bradley and Stacey, Sean reminds them that that is his sister they are talking about. Max is in the corner brooding. Jack walks up and asks him if he’s got something on his mind. Jack pushes Max about having changed his colors and asks him if there are no more torrid affairs. Max walks off declaring he’s there to spend time with his son.

Ronnie walks up to Jack and wonders if that was brotherly love. They flirt a bit. Dawn walks in, and Garry makes his way over. He wonders if she is on her own. She tells him she’s waiting for Jase. He asks if it is a date. She says it is. He says he has to get back over to the stag night. Sean reads Bradley the riot act about treating Stacey right.

Stacey is heading out, and her mum shows up. She says it reminds her of her wedding night. Stacey says it’s wonderful. They join the party, but Stacey is looking for any way out. Tanya and Rachel exchange barbs. Jean tries to make small talk but fails with Tanya and his mum.

Sean and Bradley have a heart to heart about Stacey. Max walks up and interrupts them. Jack compares him and Ronnie and “Ronnie and Clyde.” Ronnie reminds him that Clyde was the orangutaun in a Clint Eastwood movie. Roxy has a jab at Dawn for Jase standing her up.

Jase is at home but is nervous. Jay notices it. The phone rings, and he hangs it up. The house phone rings, and it’s Dawn telling him she’s unhappy about being stood up. Jay makes fun of him for being in trouble. Jase heads out.

Stacey is not having fun at the hen night. She keeps looking at the phone. The ladies all reminisce about their wedding days. So then Stacey says they are right and she plans to head over to the Vic to see her future husband. They protest but follow her out.

The Masoods are all around the table awaiting Syed. She is angry that Mas wants to serve the dinner. She bites at him for wanting to serve the food. Shab gets up, and she gets chastised for not using the bathroom before she sat down.

Bradley and Sean are arguing about him and Stacey when she sneaks up behind him. Rachel tells Max they didn’t screw him up too bad. Rachel comments on Stacey’s hemline.

Outside of Jase’s apartment Terry looks on. Jay is inside wondering where his dad is. At the Vic, Dawn yells at him for standing her up. He tries to apologize. Dawn leaves and Roxy tries to tempt him to stay for a drink. He tells her he can’t. She wonders what is wrong with all the men around there.

Max and are talking aobut Bradley, Stacey, Sean and the like. Sean walks up to Tanya and flirts with her. Max swoops in and kisses Tanya.

Jay is waiting for his dad. He puts his jacket on and shoes and is hading out when Jase comes back in. Jase yells at him and tells him when he tells him to stay he means it. Terry is outside and leaves.

At the Masood’s the mood is somber. Mas tells Zainab that she may have been expecting too much. She tells him as if she could ever expect too much. She yells at them and tells them to leave the table.

Max and Stacey walk off to chat. The men are playing cards. Ronnie gives advice to Garry. Jack calls and has a winning hand. He tells him never to trust a woman when it comes to poker.

Stacey walks up to Sean and they make up. He says he will still walk her down the aisle. She tells him this is what she wants and he should be happy for her. The guys have decorated Bradley and have a good laugh. Max keeps trying to get away to talk to Stacey.

Jack comes up to the bar and continues to tease Ronnie about the poker hand and getting it wrong. Ronnie invites him to poker on Friday night.

Stacey walks out of the pub. Max follows her. She tells him to leave her alone. He tells her that it is a problem as he can’t. She reminds him that she is marrying his son. Max lays it out for her what it will be like. She tells him it was a touching speech but to save it for the wedding. He grabs her and says please. She tells him it’s over. Sean overhears everything. And he’s angry.
