March 4, 2019 Episode 1 (UK Original Air Date October 26, 2007)

Bradley is sitting on the couch looking upset and crosses off a date on his calendar.

Stacey comes down the stairs on the phone with Max. They are trying to figure out who it was. Lauren stands in the door and tells Max she hates him. At her house, Stacey calls out for Charlie and Nan. No one is home, and she finds a note from Sean saying he’ll see her in the church.

Roxy and Damian are in the kitchen half dressed when Peggy walks in. She tells them she’s getting tired of finding half-naked men in her kitchen. Roxy reminds her that Damian is her fiance. Ronnie walks in and says “still here are you?” Roxy and Damian giggle back to the bedroom. Peggy says to Ronnie that she thought they’d split up.

Lauren is telling Max that he embarrassed her the night before. She says that Stacey, Bradley and all probably hate her. He asks her since when did she care what people think. He tells her they can make it better. She tells him that since she was upstairs, she was the last to know about granddad.

Damian wonders who Peggy was talking about. She tells him that Ronnie isn’t exactly a nun. He grabs her and demands to know if it was Ian. She promises she made a terrible mistake and only loves him. He makes her swear on her life.

Ronnie and Roxie are discussing her lie. Ronnie tells her she can’t believe she didn’t tell her. They argue some more, and Roxy tells her it’s back to plan A, Ronnie is going to sell her shares of the bar back to Damian. Damian comes in. He sits down to enjoy the breakfast Roxy made him.

Heather comes into the cafe and sits with Minty and Hazel. She thinks they should choose peach. Masood walks in and pays for Jase’s tea. Hazel breaks it to Heather that they can’t afford to pay for the wedding. Shabnam suggests that they have a house warming party. Mas agrees.

Stacey comes to Dot’s to find Bradley. She walks in, and he looks at her and says “Why him Stacey?” Stacey starts to explain, and Bradley says “why granddad.”

Heather sells her George Michael collection to Mo to help pay for Minty and Hazel’s wedding. Patrick can’t believe she did that.

Zainab is ironing and watching telly. Tamwar changes the channel. Zainab tells him to turn it back as she is multi-tasking. Mas comes in and offers her a sandwich. She wants to know what he’s up to. He tells her that they should have a house warming party.

Damian heads off to get the papers drawn up. He asks Roxy if she’d like to go. She says no thanks. Ronnie tears into her again. Peggy is so thankful that they are doing this for her.

The Masoods are in full cleaning and preparing mode. Tamwar pours a whole jar of spices into the food.

Damian is back and says they should celebrate. He asks Roxy about her ring, and she puts him off. When he pushes, she starts making out with him and drags him upstairs.

Bradley is explaining to the Vicar why Dot can’t be there. The whole rehearsal is off to a bumpy start.

The party is off to a great start. They have a houseful. Mickey bites into the food, and it’s too spicy for him. Shabnam wants to know if his mates are coming. He tells her no it was too short notice, but he’s there. Heather wants to know if Garry is coming and Hazel tells her he is not. Patrick comes in and gives Heather her collection back and shows her he’s figured out a way to help.

The rehearsal is kicking off. Rachel tells Bradley they should have just gone to the registry office. Max’s phone rings. He steps out to take the call. Stacey goes out to see if her mum is there yet. She asks Max if he knows who it was that slammed the door. He doesn’t, and Sean shows up and makes Stacey jumpy. They head back into the chapel, and Jean shows up.

The party is well on at the Masoods. Shabs says she would like to go over to the pub with Dawn and Carly. They think she can’t, and she tells them she’s done things that would make her parent’s hair turn white.

Jean is doing her reading, and everyone is a bit is fading. Jean is nervous and comes down after thinking maybe she shouldn’t say, baby. Bradley tells her maybe she could read something else. Jean says she knows it’s just a rehearsal. Stacey tells her to sit down.

Carly, Dawn and Shabnam are giggling and looking in Jase’s direction. He wonders what they are on about as he knows they are talking about him. Dawn tells him in his dreams. He tells her she is every night.

Patrick and Kevin are looking at Zainab’s painting that Sayeed did for her. They say it’s not quite their taste. Zainab walks up and says that her son painted it for her. They tell her that they didn’t know she had a son. She says he’s gone. Patrick and Kevin look at one another with wonder.

Ronnie apologizes the Roxy and tells her that she hopes she will be happy in Ibiza. Roxy is about to say something when Damian comes out of the bedroom with Roxy’s “lost” engagement ring. Ronnie glares at Roxy.

Downstairs Jase is finishing a beer. Dawn is being harassed by a man and Jase steps in. They fight and Peggy tosses them out. Dawn says she didn’t need his help. Jase tells her there were three of them and he could have taken them. Peggy kicks him out too. Jase walks out angry and almost punches the wall.

Everyone piles out of the church and Max tells Tanya he’ll drive Jean home and Stacey as well. Jean tries to get in the back seat, but Stacey tells her she will sit back there. Sean glares at them as Charlie yells for him to come on.

Roxy tells Ronnie it’s all part of her plan. There is no way she could have pulled the same tricks again. Damian opens the door and asks her about the drink.

Max gets Jean to her house. She’s getting out of the car and grabs a phone on the floor. Jean gives Stacey Brian’s ring to give to Bradley.

Jase arrives back at his old Local. Bird and the guys welcome him back. Jase wants to know who grassed him up. Terry tells him that he thought he didn’t want to know. Jase tells him he changed his mind. Terry tells him it’s good to have him back.

Stacey and Max pull into the square. Stacey tells him all that panic for nothing. Max says he wasn’t because he doesn’t care. Max says he can’t believe he’s letting her go through with this wedding. Stacey gets out of the car and looks back at Max. He gets out his phone.

The Masoods are enjoying that their party was a success. Mas spills orange juice and he and Zainab kiss. She stops him as he exposes a scar on her abdomen.

Max text Stacey that he wants doesn’t want it to end, and he loves her. The text rings through at Jean’s. She gets her phone out and is confused. She opens her purse and finds the other phone.
