February 24, 2019 Episode 1 (UK Original Air Date October 23, 2007)

The girls arrive home in a black cab giggling. Peggy goes to the window and looks down at them, her face bruised. She touches her face and grimaces. The girls talk about how good it is that Peggy is in the clear and they should start talking about the club again. As Ronnie is looking for her keys Roxy spies the busted door. They go in and Ronnie calls out hello. They have a look around at the pub and it’s all smashed up. Ronnie sees everything and immediately goes looking for Peggy. They see her face and Peggy tells them she’s fine.

Max and Tanya wake and he is still broody. Tanya touches him and he jumps out of bed and says he has to go.

Heather is dreamy-eyed for Garry. Patrick tries to help him out and tells Heather that he’s a popular guy and lots of girls have their eye on him. Heather says they better not. Jase comes in, and Heather tells him his choice is not a proper breakfast. His friend comes in and tells him he needs a proper English. Jase says he’s going to leave it. They walk out, and Jase asks him what he’s doing there. His friend tells him the boys all miss him and he should come round. Jase tells him he can’t and heads off.

Ronnie and Roxy are going over the details with Peggy. They tell her she should go to casualty to get checked out after that punch. Peggy tells them it wasn’t a punch, he pushed past her knocking into the wall. Roxy asks if she’s called the police. Peggy warns her off from calling telling Roxy she needs to get herself together then she’ll call. Ronnie says they should have never left her.

Tanya is sitting on the bed. Max comes in and says he’s off. Tanya asks him not to be like that. He brushes her off. She tells him she’s been feeling really rubbish. The wedding is stressing her and Rachel. Max tells her he doesn’t have time for all this. He walks out and leaves. She calls after him.

Zainab is explaing to Mickey and Jase that they are not to take too many tea breaks. Zainab orders Masood around about getting rid of the new furniture.

Mo confesses to Stacey that Charlie and Dot lost the invitations . Stacey yells at her that she gave her one job. Mo tells her that was one job too many.

Tanya is trying on her dress for the wedding and feels down.

The insurance adjuster comes through and inspects things with Peggy. He asks her if she’s reported it to the police. She says she will. He tells her the report won’t go anywhere without it.

Jase and Mickey are getting along and say that if this goes well they can do a few more jobs.

Stacey and Tanya are talking in the salon. Tanya is talking about feeling fat when Rachel walks in. She tells Tanya she remembers feeling like that towards the end. Nothing looks good on.

Ronnie answers the door to Sean. He demands to see Peggy. Peggy comes down and tells Ronnie its ok. Sean tells her she’s elevated this to aggravated burglary and he’s been selling her dodgy booze around town. He tells her he’s not going to prison for this.

Rachel informs Tanya she’s hosting a lunch tomorrow as its a tradition. They argue, and Rachel tells Tanya she’s determined to steal Bradley away. Tanya asks her if she ever wonders why all the men in her life keep leaving. Rachel tells her she’s just bitter and worried that the same thing is going to happen to her. Tanya tells Rachel to leave.

Masood pays Mo to shift the furniture for him.

Peggy is determined to open up. Roxy and Ronnie tell her that they can’t as this is evidence. Peggy tells them that the police can’t be bothered and they are going to open up.

Heather is chatting up Garry in the cafe. She tells him that she knows. He wonders what she knows. Heather tells him that she knows he has trouble saying what he means. Garry agrees not getting where Heather is going with this. She tells him she’s just the same. She tells him ” you know what this is? This is a moment.” She reaches across and grabs his hand, and he tells her he has to leave.

Jase and Dawn cross paths in the square. She tells him that she has bought a new buggy. He tells her that he believes her. She tells him she needs help putting it together.

Peggy is on edge. Minty and Hazel say they should put together a neighborhood watch. Hazel orders two OJ’s and Peggy snaps at her that it’s a pub, not a health store. Ronnie walks behind Peggy, and she jumps and yells at Ronnie that she’s alright. Hazel says it’s the shock.

Sean shows up and says he’s there for the guest list because Mo messed up the invites. He asks if he is alright. She says yeah. He tells her she didn’t sound convincing. She says it’s just hard going to work when you feel like a whale. He tells her that Max should be looking after her. She hands him the paperwork and says he is.

Jase is putting together the buggy for Dawn. She asks him if he’s passing through or staying. He says he isn’t sure. They chat about Walford. Dawn says he’s not very chatty. He tells her he is just trying to get this finished because he has that job. Dawn tells him not to worry. He tells her he was listening to her and all. He tells Dawn he likes what he sees.

Sean tells Tanya that he’s never seen her look more beautiful. She tells him he must be joking. He says he’s not. He leans in to kiss her and Tanya almost kisses him back. She gets angry and tosses him out.

Jase finishes the buggy and Dawn is impressed. She says she’ll be like all the other posh moms down at the park. Jase pulls out money to give to her and Dawn is insulted. They argue, and he tells her he is just trying to help a single mom out. She tosses him out.

Sean comes into the Vic and finds Peggy. He asks if she’s called the police. She tells him no. He tells her good don’t. He tells her he’s keeping the money. She tells him she needs that money. She’s lied to everyone, and he tells her once you start lying you have to keep lying.

Mo is selling the furnishings out in front of the house.

Ronnie asks Peggy if there is anything she hasn’t told them. Peggy snaps and tells her that she doesn’t need her questioning her; she needs her support. Ronnie looks over at Roxy.

Zainab is looking around and knows something is off in the house. She looks out the window and wonders why her chairs are going in the back of a car.

Ronnie wonders what is going on and says she needs to call the police. Peggy asks her who she is calling. Ronnie says the police. Peggy hangs up the phone. She tells them she needs to confess that she set this all up. Peggy details how everything is falling apart. She says that the man yesterday wasn’t from the bank but not to worry she didn’t sign anything. Now she’s never going to get this sorted.

Zainab is furious with Mas for selling her furniture this way. Then he slips and admits he bought the furniture from Peggy.

Ronnie is furious and screams at Peggy that she told her to leave this alone. Peggy yells at her “what was I supposed to do. Ronnie screams to remind her never to trust anyone again.

Hazel brings Minty healthy snacks. She wonders why Garry is long in the face. He tells her he’s going to have to run away. Minty says it’s woman problems. Hazel wonders who it is. He tells her Heather. She says she will sort it.

Mickey and Jase come into the pub. Billy wonders who invited Jase. Mickey says he did. Billy tells him this was meant to be market stall gathering and he’s not welcome. Mickey reminds him he doesn’t have a stall either yet he’s allowed. Jase tells him not to worry and goes to the bar. Dawn is still sour over earlier with Jase. Billy wonders what this is about and Dawn tells him it’s because she doesn’t have a bloke to take care of her that he keeps tossing tenners at her. Billy tells Mickey he’s been trying to tell them all about Jase. Jase tells them he doesn’t need this aggravation. He goes to leave, and his friend is sitting in the pub.
