Peggy is rifling through all the bills and comes across her insurance policy. She hears banging on the door. Ronnie comes in and asks if she should get that. Peggy tells her that she thought they said she had a month. Ronnie goes down and it’s Roxy at the door. Ronnie asks her where she’s been. Roxy says she had to get milk. Ronnie asks where the milk is. Ronnie tells her she thought it was all hands on deck. Roxy tells her it is but she’s working on things. Ronnie tells her she is thinking of calling Damian and cashing in her shares. Roxy tells her not to.

Stacey gives Mo her invitations to mail. Mo said she didn’t want the menial jobs. She shows Stacey her lot to sell. Rachel comes by and sees the bridesmaid dresses and wonders if Tanya will let the girls wear them.

Sean comes in and asks Peggy if there is anything he can do to help out. She tells him that she is fully staffed. A man comes in and asks for a pint. The tap is empty, and she asks Sean to change the barrel. The gentleman presents his card to Peggy after she calls him out on complimenting her three times in less than a minute. Seems he works for a company that discreetly helps with debt issues. She tells him to sling his hook and get out of her pub. Sean comes back up and tells her she’s out of lager.

At the post office Jace walks in and takes a job card out of the window. He goes to the counter and asks for a phone card. He doesn’t have a tenner, and so Zainab tells him there is a phone box outside. He walks out and pulls change out of his pocket.

Abi and Lauren are in their dresses. They comment about how short the dresses are. Rachel makes a comment about the dresses. Tanya comments on how fun they are and isn’t that what Stacey was going for. Stacey agrees. Max walks by, and Tanya calls for his help. Lauren tells him she doesn’t even want to be a bridesmaid. Max says it’s sorted then as Abi will only be one. Tanya calls after him, and Rachel smirks while Stacey is upset.

Peggy is in the cafe and Ronnie text to see where she is. Zainab comes in and finds Masood still in the cafe with Shabnam. She wonders what he’s been doing, and he promises he’s going to get furniture. Peggy overhears. Zainab’s phone rings and she hopes it’s someone about the painting job. Mickey overhears and asks her about the job.

Minty and Garry are in the pub and asks about being served. Peggy comes in with Masood Shabnam to sell the furniture. Ronnie wonders what is going on and Peggy tells her she had to take out a loan from the business too. Ronnie is upset and wonders what Phil will think of it. Peggy tells her that Phil will never need to know. Peggy motions for Masood and Shabnam to come upstairs. Shabnam is worried that her mum will discover the furniture came from a pub. Masood corrects her and says it came from above the pub.

Bradley calls out to Max and tells him he’s worried about his mum and Tanya. Max wonders what he wants him to do about it.

Heather is walking down the street listening to George Michael and singing Faith. Shabnam and Masood walk by carrying furniture. Charlie calls out to Mo and tells her he’s starving. She tells him to make his own tea. He convinces her to buy him a chocolate bar to keep him going.

In the pub Peggy is counting the cash when Ronnie wonders what she’s playing at. Peggy says she’s just liquidating assets before the creditors can get ahold of it. Max and Bradley come in and order drinks. Peggy squares up with the delivery guys, but the lager won’t be there for another day. Max and Bradley walk over to Stacey, Rachel, and Tanya. They are sorting out the seating arrangements when Tanya realizes she’s not sitting with Max. She protest and Rachel tells her not to make it all about her. Max tells them all he just wants to have a quiet drink. Tanya is not happy.

Mo is whinging about sending out the invitations and how this wedding is messing with her. She leaves with the wrong bag. Heather comes in, and Patrick spits out his drink when he sees her. He says the ginger beer has a kick to it! She wonders what’s going on. She says she’s been getting some strange looks today. Patrick says her outfit is very colorful.

Max, Rachel, Stacey, Bradley, and Tanya are discussing guest when Rachel wonders who from Max’s family is coming. Rachel wonders why Jack isn’t coming. Stacey wonders who that is. Bradley explains that it’s his uncle. Rachel says Max has always been jealous of him. Stacey and Bradley make a mad dash off.

Sean comes in with a barrel and tells Peggy he’s found it as it literally fell off the back of the lorry. She tells him to get off and tells Ronnie to sort it as they’ll give it back tomorrow. Roxy asks Ronnie what they are going to do about it. Ronnie tells her to get it hooked up. Jase leaves the pub and trips over Dawn’s pram, breaking it. She yells at him, and he tells her she shouldn’t be shoving it in peoples way. She yells after him reminding him that she is a single mum on benefits. A man stands over her and comments on the rudeness of some people.

Jase goes to Masood about the painting job. Masood tells him he’ll have to use his own tools. Jase is well pleased and says he’ll just have a look upstairs.

Minty and Garry are in a state because there is no lager at the pub.

At the Minute Mart two boys are at the window laughing at Heather. He tells her to ignore them. He tells her that she has to have faith. She says she will and runs off for an egg sandwich. Garry comes in, and Patrick asks him if he wants to make some money.

Jase is enjoying a tea and biscuit at Masoods when he mentions he saw him carrying the furniture across from the pub. Masood gives him an advance to be quiet. The bell rings, and it’s Mickey with his stuff to paint. Masood didn’t know there were two.

Dot is working in the laundrette. She picks up the black sack of laundry Charlie dropped off. She opens it and throws it down. The bag starts vibrating.

Peggy is meeting with the credit repair man. They talk about their families and how they’d do anything to protect them.

Garry comes in the mart and Patrick motions to him. Garry tells Heather how beautiful she looks in her outfit. She is stunned, and he leaves. She asks Patrick what all that was about. He shrugs. Heather is lovey eyed.

They are reviewing the details, and Peggy asks what this is all about. He makes it all sound good. He is essentially buying the pub from her and leasing it back to her. She is angry, and he tells her she doesn’t have any other options.

Zainib comes in and is pleased with the progress that Masood made.

Peggy is looking at Ben’s savings book and grimaces.

Garry tells Patrick he’s put him right in it. Patrick tells him to enjoy the good karma.

Mo comes running into the laundrette. Dot tells her she needs to speak with Charlie as he needs spiritual guidance. Mo tells Dot the bag was hers, not his. Dot tells her she’s thrown it away. Mo tells her the invitations were in there! Dot tells her she wasn’t to know. Mo runs out to see the bins cleared.

In the pub Tanya and Rachel are going at each other when they agree on one thing about Max’s performance in bed. Max pouts and makes a move on Stacey at the bar. She pours her drink on him and tells him she feels sorry for him.

Masood and family are watching television when Zainab pulls out a photo, crisp bag and beer bottle from the sofa. Mas says he can explain when the doorbell rings. It’s the moving company with their furniture.

Max and Tanya are in bed and he’s broody. Tanya tries to comfort him and tell him Rachel was only trying to get a rise out of him. He continues to pout.

In the pub Peggy tells the girls they can head out for the night. She’s going to have a bath and early night. They are well pleased. Later, Peggy is upstairs and hears banging and crashing. She comes downstairs and finds Sean tearing the place up. She looks at him and tells him to hit her.
