Roxy and Ronnie are arm wrestling for the clubs’ name. Roxy’s or Ronnie’s? Roxy says it’s going to be her name. Ronnie disagrees.

Denise comes into the kitchen where Kevin is reading the paper. She dumps the chocolates on a plate and tells him breakfast is served. He tells her to leave it. She reminds him that they extended the hands of friendship and it was shoved back in their face. Carly comes in, picks chocolate up off the floor and tosses it on the table. She asks if anyone’s seen the job section of the paper. Denise says she left it in the lounge. Kevin begs her to come work for him. She tells him she wants to keep her options open. He says there is no better place to work than for him.

Peggy is going through the mail when the phone rings. She picks it up and then hangs it up. Ronnie calls down and asks who it was. Peggy says it was a wrong number. Peggy seems distracted.

Zanib tells Masood “imagine pretending you don’t eat chocolate. What an absurd idea.” She calls for Shabnam as Masood measures a wall. She asks him what he is doing? He says he is marking exactly where everything is going when the mover gets there. He thinks it’s perfect. She says the house will be when the upstairs is painted. She sends Shabnam off to work at the post office by herself.

Bradley comes in after a night of work. Dot comes at him with the need for decisions to be made on music. He tells her he’s got it under control and he’s tired after working all night. She tells him they only have a fortnight to get it all done and decisions must be made. She starts singing a hymn to him and he falls asleep, or so he lets her think.

Ronnie is on the phone and is upset as the offer they made on the club was not enough. She hangs up the phone frustrated. Roxy is standing in the doorway with a 60’s style wig on. Roxy tells her to offer more. Ronnie says they are already at their limit. She asks if Roxy has found the engagement ring yet. Roxy tells her she hasn’t and besides it wasn’t worth much. Ronnie asks her how she knows. Roxy tells her she had it appraised a while back and it was only worth 500 which pretty much sums up what Damian thought of her. Ronnie tells her that is not true. Roxy asks if they can just talk about the club. Ronnie says they’ll have to bring someone else in. Roxy says no blokes as it is just the two of them. Peggy comes in and notices Roxy’s wig. Roxy tells her it is for the 60’s night and they are going to bring in loads of money. Roxy tells Ronnie to go to the kitchen. Roxy pats on the sofa and asks Auntie Peg to sit down as she’s got a little proposition for her. Ronnie glares at Roxy.

Minty is eating a full-on breakfast, and Hazel comes in and tells him this one is on her as Tanya has just given her the job as a receptionist at the salon. Minty says, in that case, he’ll have another sausage. Hazel asks him if he has had enough. Minty gets offended and thinks she’s insulting his weight. She tells him she loves him just the way he is. He tells her he can lose weight. He tells her it will be gone in a week. Hazel laughs and says only if you’ve got dysentery. Minty sends the full English breakfast and the extra sausage away. He tells Hazel to give him seven days, and she won’t recognize him.

Bradley wakes up to his phone ringing. He sees it’s Mo and closes it without answering. Mo leaves him a message that she’s gotten a good line on kilts. Charlie is wearing his, and he’s not happy.

Ronnie and Peggy review the club information with Peggy. She looks unsure, and Ronnie tells her it was a bad idea. Peggy tells her maybe not. She tells the girls that if they do well at the 60’s bash, she’ll see how much she can get. They are elated. The three Mitchell girls!

Kevin reminds Carly that she’s not a mechanic anymore, she’s a bonafide salesperson. Garry looks it over and tells him the car is a piece of rust, and the engine is shot. Carly tells him she could have told him that. Kevin answers his phone and walks away. Garry tells Carly that she looks different and nice. He tells Carly to come to the Arches to get her tools. Kevin tells him to keep them as Carly only needs her smile and charm. Kevin is beaming as Denise walks up and says she has a job interview and at a grocery. He tells Denise she can do the shopping while she is there. Denise rolls her eyes. Kevin says how proud of his girls he is. They both shift their eyes at him.

The Masood’s are eagerly awaiting their furnishings when a truck pulls into the square. Zanib is excited as she thinks it’s theirs. Masood tells her it’s not as their lorry was smaller. She says they need to hurry up as she’s invited the whole family round to help them unpack. He says they will be there.

Roxy says that they are on their way. Ronnie decorating and Roxy heads out to find punters to pack the place.

Bradley is sleeping when he feels something splashing his face. Mo has water and is splashing his face. Bradley awakens and is startled as he sees Charlie there holding kilts and Mo standing over him. He wonders how they got in. She says they were out there ringing the bell for ages and they came in the back way. She tells him to get up and try on a kilt. Bradley refuses, and Charlie says he knew Bradley wouldn’t go for it. Mo isn’t having it and demands he get up and try it on. She wants him to put a little Scottish feel into the wedding. Bradley says no, and he knows his Grandma will have something to say about this. Mo says she will handle Dot. He tells them he just wants to sleep. Mo tells him, no, and he needs to do this. Mo says she knows a bloke who knows a bloke who knows a bloke who can get them a bagpipe player. Bradley says NO! Charlie tells Mo he told her it wouldn’t’ work. She says that was just round one.

Carly is not happy at the car lot. She walks off, and Darren walks up. He says that Kevin promised him. He tells him that Carly is his daughter; he had to give her the job. Darren is disappointed. Kevin tells him that if he can shift the car, Garry said it was worth nothing he can have the job. Darren agrees despite the mirror falling off.

There is a knock at the door and Peggy answers. Two gentlemen are standing there. One notes to Peggy that someone is home after all. He tells her that they have been ringing all morning. Jase runs by Minty. Minty asks him if he’ll be his running partner. He thinks he’s having a go at him. Minty says he’s serious. Jase makes another joke, and Minty says he is not. Jase agrees to give him pointers.

Roxy comes into the cafe and is passing out flyers for the pub night. She notices Bradley asleep. She wakes him up and then moves over to Billy. She persuades him to help and bring his mates tonight. She entices him with the promise of a job at Scarlett’s. Billy is excited.

Dot comes in and tells Bradley she’s spoken with the Vicar, and he’ll be happy to see him tonight at dinnertime. Bradley just wants to rest. Billy phones Honey and says he’s back in the nightclub business.

Carly comes to the Arches and finds Jase working out with Minty. She tells Minty she is there for the tools. Minty says there are none. Garry comes back and tells her she’s meant to be a mechanic. Carly is well on happy about it.

Peggy is pleased with the way the pub came out. Bradley comes in, and Mo starts in at him again. He loses his temper and tells her to leave him alone. She says she’s not even started yet. Bradley gets on the phone and calls someone for help.

He tells her that his phone is dead, so he’s going to find a payphone to call the police. She wonders where he found these people. He says it was recommended by a friend of a friend. She says no doubt they were cheap. She wonders how much this will cost them.

Billy is chatting with Ronnie and Roxy about bringing him into the club. He walks off, and Ronnie turns to Roxy and lays into her for offering Billy something they don’t have. Peggy goes in the back and calls her accounts manager. She tells them it’s about an investment. She heads off to see them.

Darren is working hard to sell the motor. The buyer kicks the bumper, and it falls off. Carly walks up and wonders if Darren is working there. She is excited as it means she can go back to being a mechanic. She tells him to tell her dad as much.

Minty is running and stops in pain. Shabnam runs out to ask Denise to help her with the computer. Denise says just this once.

Bradley tells Dot he’s organized a family meeting.

Denise shows Shabnam that it wasn’t broken. Denise starts to head off, but Shabnam tells her she needs to shift those boxes in. Minty pokes his head in and says he nearly tripped over them. Denise tells her that she can have him shift the boxes now and she can get going.

In the Vic the families have all gathered, and everyone is wondering what is going on. Bradley tells Stacie he called in reinforcements. She asks if he’s hired a wedding planner? He says no, better than that. His mum walks in.
