DS Dunn tells Chelsea and Dean they do not have to say anything as it may harm their defense. Chelsea and Dean turn around and are visibly frightened. Denise and Libby are trying to comprehend what is happening. There is total chaos. Chelsea yells out Mum. Denise is yelling at DS Dunn. Carly grabs Dean, and he begs her not to go. She slips the necklace in his back pocket. Chelsea yells out Mum again and says that she didn’t do anything. Denise tells Chelsea through the car window to keep her mouth closed, and they will be down to the station. Denise notices that Brian is writing down everything that has just happened. She snatches the pad out of his hand and yells at him that he’s not meant to be writing this down.

Carly walks over to the square and Kevin follows her. She tells Kevin “did you see the look on his face?” Kevin says “you ain’t still going?” He begs her to think it through. Carly tells him that he should have let Dean turn himself in when he tried. Denise rushes by Kevin and says to come on they are going to the station. Kevin pleads with Carly not to go. He says they can talk it all through when he gets back from the station. He realizes that Carly is not coming back. He pleads with her to wait. Meanwhile, Denise keeps calling him to come on.

The pub pours out onto the streets to watch them take Dean and Chelsea away. Dean is crying in the car as it passes Carly.

Lucy is in the bathroom crying. Craig knocks on the door calling for Lucy to come out and play.

Ian comes rushing back into the house with a police officer who is looking for Craig. Ian notices that Lucy has called his phone. He tells them that Lucy is with Craig but her phones been cut off.

Ben comes rushing down the stairs as he’s looking for his Gran. Ronnie and Roxy stop him and tell him that she’s just had to pop out for a minute. Ben swears they are lying as he’s seen the police there. Just then Peggy comes round. He’s worried about his dad. She tells him that his dad is not sick, he’s just drinking again. She tells him that she thought if she could stop him from drinking he wouldn’t have to see him like that.

Dot is helping Abi look over Marge as she gives birth. She gloves up, and Marge gives birth to the second guinea pig. Then a third comes out.

Lucy is listening through the door and decides to come out. Craig asks her what took her. He wonders who she’s phoned. She says her dad. She has told him not to come after her. He says “yeah we don’t want him doing anything like that and spoiling our fun.” He’s got his gun in his hand. He asks if she’d like to see it. She tells him he doesn’t need it. She says she’s sorry for how she got the money and not telling him the truth. She tells him that she hasn’t told anyone about Mr. Trueman and no one will find the weapon as she’s gotten rid of it. She says they’ll need more money and she knows how to get it.

Peggy and Billy are walking around looking for Phil. They reminisce about Eric’s drinking problems. She talks about the drink and how it’s an illness. She tells Billy they should split up to cover more ground.

Dean is in the investigation room and nervous. Over in the other is Chelsea and DS Dunn who formerly starts the interview. Outside Denise is demanding to speak with them. They tell her they were offered lawyers and turned them down. Denise says she’s her mum and demands to be in there. The policeman tells her they were arrested as adults. DS Dunn hands Chelsea her written statement and tells her if she notices anything wrong now would be the time to correct it. Chelsea says nothing. Dean starts his interview as well by reading his statement.

Dot and Abi are shocked as Marge gives birth to six piglets.

In the park Peggy is worried. She uses her phone to locate Phil. He’s in the bushes with a bottle. She tells him “you stupid! What have you done to yourself?” He asks ‘Where’s Ben?”

Dean is finishing reading his statement. DS Dunn tells Chelsea that she missed a bit and told her to read it. Chelsea reads the last bit about what happens when you make a false statement. DS Dunn asks her if she still stands by her statement. In the other room, Dean is standing by his statement.

Craig asks Lucy if she’s 100% that no one will notice. She tells him yes as they will be stressing over her and cashing out the tills and cleaning up will be happening in the chippy and cafe. She kisses him and tells him somethings are worth waiting for.

Abi is in a panic, and Dot tries to let her know that things should just be. Abi tells her to get Bradley on the webcam. Dot tells him to get browsing.

Brian comes in and asks Denise if she’s like to tell their side of the story. Kevin asks her not to. It’s a mistake. She tells him that she’ll make her mistakes and he can make his.

Lucy comes running into the house. Ian is so happy to see her. She tells them that Craig is the one who hurt Mr. Trueman. She asks if she knows where Craig is now.

Chelsea finishes her statement. DS Dunn tells her that material evidence has come to light. A recording has come into evidence that says otherwise. DS Dunn leans in and tells her that if she lies now there are serious consequences. Dean slips up in his room and says it’s probably just a kid and you know what kids can be like!

Abi pulls out piglet six and saves her life with Bradley’s help.

Kevin is on the phone and gets Carly’s voicemail. Carly is in the Vic and says goodbye to Minty. On the other side, Roxy is teaching Ben how to play darts. Ben hears things banging about upstairs. Peggy goes up to see. Ben keeps playing darts.

In his car Craig sees the police coming. He shoves his gun in Lucy’s bag. The police capture Craig pretty quickly. He’s arrested for the attempted murder of Patrick.

Peggy comes up and finds Phil drunk. She says she has to stop him from seeing him. She’s been down this road before, and she won’t let him mess it up again. Phil goes downstairs yelling for Ben. Ben gets bopped on the head by Roxy. They try to hurry Ben out, but he sees his Dad drunk. Peggy comes in and says that the way to get rid of the cancer is to cut it out. She looks at Phil and says “you, get out of my pub!” He walks out. Ben runs to his Gran.

Chelsea tells them she doesn’t know what they think they’ve got, and she doesn’t care. Chelsea says that voices can be doctored. DS Dunn asks her about the voice recording. Chelsea says she hasn’t been recorded by anyone. DS Dunn wonders who have they recorded then? Over in the other room, Dean says “look theirs this girl who recorded him saying something, but it’s only he got the time wrong. He says he’s not sure he got it wrong. Dean keeps telling them how he was blackmailed for money. He says he knows he would get in trouble if he got it wrong and that is what this is, a mistake.” Over in Chelsea’s room, she tells them she should be able to leave now. DS Dunn tells her no, not just yet. DS Dunn tells them to go and get the recording.

Carly comes to the police station. Kevin is sitting out front. She tells him that she came to say goodbye. He tells her not to go. He knows he got it wrong. He says she was right about the whole lot. He begs her to please reconsider because he knows he hurt her. If she can’t stay for him, then please stay for Dean, he’s going to need her. Carl says I don’t think so. Kevin wonders what she did. He burned the tape. She tells him she made a copy. She says “I knew you’d bottle it.” She gets in the taxi. He says “you’ve stuffed him. And for what? To have the last word? You wanted to get Chelsea so bad that you’ve hung your own brother and all?” She says she wanted to help him. Didn’t he see what this was doing to him with all these lies? She tells him that he brought them up to do the right thing. Kevin tells her it wasn’t her choice to make. Carly tells him no, no it wasn’t. It was yours, and you didn’t make it. She kisses Kevin goodbye.

Chelsea is crying as she watches the tape recording. She asks to see her mum. DS Dunn hands her a piece of paper and says it’s time for the lies to end. Dean is crying as he watches it. DS Dunn wants to know if she knows this man, Craig Dixon? Did they plan this together? In his room, Dean yells NO. Chelsea says we never meant for this to happen and it all got out of control. DS Dunn says so you let an innocent man get arrested and a dangerous criminal go? WHY? Chelsea says I didn’t… I loved him. And he hurt me. Dean says that he hated him. He had everyone laughing at me. Dean says he was going to turn himself in, he promises. Chelsea cries “what’s going to happen to us?”

Jane thanks the police officer. She says we got our man and you got your daughter. Another police officer hands Jane Lucy’s bag. Inside Lucy is telling her dad about it all. Jane says she thinks Lucy’s probably had enough for one day. Lucy takes her bag and heads upstairs. Jane cuddles Ian and tells him that she’s safe now. Upstairs Lucy finds Craig’s gun in her clothes.

Denise sees that DS Dunn is coming out. She says “finally! Come to offer an apology?” DS Dunn looks at her and says “they’ve both admitted they lied on their statements and will be formally charged.” Denise looks at Kevin. Chelsea is put into a cell and through her tears reads “ur screwed” written on the wall. Dean is placed in his as well and is holding Jimbo’s necklace. Chelsea sobs.
