November 11, 2018 Episode 2 (UK Original Air Date September 3,2007)

Kevin is on the phone with the salon. He tells them that Chelsea will not be into work today. Kevin picks up the tape. In the kitchen, Chelsea is panicked because she can’t find the tape in her bag. She asks Carly if she’s been going through it. Carly asks her what is missing. Carly snaps at her and Kevin walks in. Carly leaves for work. Chelsea brushes past as Kevin tells them both to get dressed. Chelsea says she has to go to work. Kevin yells at her that they ain’t going nowhere. He says he’s told work they are sick. Because they are sick… Sick in the head. He pulls out the tape. He asks if they have any idea what they’ve done to this family.

Ian is fussing because Bobby won’t go to his new school unless he’s wearing his wings. Lucy helps out, and Ian is pleased. She asks him if he would give her twenty quid for drama club. She convinces him that she is well keen to start and they even put on shows. He gives her the cash and takes Bobby to school. Peter asks if she is ready. She says she is not going to school. She makes a call and says “Ready when you are!”

Kevin is trying to find out why Chelsea and Dean have kept this tape. Chelsea says they wanted to give Sean a little bit of a fright. Kevin says “A little? So what’s major? A trial for treason and a beheading? That boy is in jail because of the two of you!” Chelsea says “he treated me like dirt!” Kevin says he dumped her. She tells Kevin that she was going to hand in the tape. She says it can be sorted. They can turn the tape in, and it will be alright. Kevin says do you have any idea? You are on this tape! You are withholding evidence, and that carries a prison sentence! He tells them to both get dressed they are going down to the station.

Peggy is on the phone searching for anyone who might have a different contact for Phil or his business associates. In the background is screaming and giggling in the hallway. Peggy yells for them to keep it down. She walks into the kitchen to find Roxy and a boy toy running around the kitchen. Peggy is visibly angry. She tells Roxy she wants them decent before Ben gets up. And as for Mr. Sexy, if he’s not out of there in five minutes, she’ll be juicing more than oranges. Roxy giggles.

Dot is feverishly vacuuming the sitting room as Bradley reads the paper. She yells at him to lift his feet. Bradley says it’s a bit early for that, isn’t it? She says she wants it to be clean for the new computer. She says that she barely knew what to do when she ‘passed by Claire’s computer. That was Nigel’s girl. She realizes he wouldn’t know who that is.

Chelsea and Dean are protesting all the way out of the house with Kevin. Dean blames it all on Chelsea, and she reminds him that he is not so innocent in it all. Shirley sees them and asks where they are off to. Kevin yells at her that it is none of her business.

Lucy runs down the street into Craig’s car. He tells her to get in. He asks her for how long and she tells him all day. Her dad thinks she’s in math. Craig says he’ll have to test her later. Lucy asks what they are going to do. He says it’s more like what they aren’t going to do.

Jane asks Ian, now that things are settling down with the kids if they can go on holiday. He says it’s not a bad idea. Gus is reading his poetry to Preeti and Mickey. They love it. Mickey spills his tea on Gus’s book. Gus is upset. Preeti tells Mickey he’s not clumsy. She’s off to get him a treat. A girl at the next table starts chatting up Mickey. She moves over to his table and tells him that he won’t be able to resist. Mickey asks what? She says his cheeky smile. Preeti is paying for a treat and says she hopes it cheers him up. Jane says it looks like he’s already perked up. Preeti turns to see the girl sitting with Mickey.

The computer is delivered, and it’s a lot more than Dot planned on. She wonders what Jim will say when he gets back.

At the police station, Dean asks if he’s going to prison. Kevin just looks at him.

Peggy is rummaging through Phil’s desk at the arches. Minty wonders what she is up to. She says she’s looking for some of Phil’s contact information. Minty says that is not the book she’d be looking for and gives her the proper book. Honey walks in and talks about Janet’s party. Peggy is only half listening. She lifts the book she went for initially and leaves with Honey.

Dean is walking after his Dad out of the police station. Kevin tells him that he’s not sure what he’s going to do with the tape and he’ll hold on to it. Kevin walks off. Chelsea tells Dean to get a grip. He asks her how she’d feel if that were her mum. She realizes that Kevin is going to tell her mum. Dean tells her she will be barely hanging on if her mum knew. Chelsea runs off after Kevin and begs him not to tell her mum. He says she needs to be told. She begs him to think what it will do to her. She begs him to, please let it go. He says that it has to be her decision.

Ronnie and Roxy are listening to techno music as they set up the pub. Honey and Peggy come in. Honey says their place isn’t big enough for all the people. Roxy asks why don’t they just have the part at the Vic. Peggy tells them to hold on as it is still her pub.

Lucy and Craig are in his car. She opens his glovebox but doesn’t see the gun. Craig quickly distracts her.

Kevin is in the cafe when Carly walks in. She asks him what is wrong. He tells her he couldn’t do it. She asks what? He says give them this, as he holds up the tape. She asks what some old movie? He tells her no,, it’s the CTV tape. He tells her that Chelsea and Dean took it. Sean never did it. They lied.

Roxy is unloading tons of packages. Peggy asks what it is. Roxy says it’s all the things for Janet’s birthday party as she is the official party planner. The phone rings and Ronnie answers. It’s for Peggy. Ben and Abi are running around and making a ton of noise and a mess with silly string. Peggy is irritated by it. Roxy offers to take them to the park and for ice cream.

Gus is walking when Wellard runs off. A girl from knocks over some flowers onto his book of poetry. She says sorry, and he says it’s no bother. She says it is his girlfriend she should say she’s sorry too. He says he doesn’t have one. He asks if a guy can’t like poetry. She says sure he can if he has a soul. He tries to get something out of Willard’s mouth. She says Wellard is a cutie. They say that they take after their owners. Gus picks up that she is flirting.

Roxy is coming back with the kids when they say they are hungry. She says they can get ice cream and they run ahead saying she is the best babysitter ever.

Carly watches the tape and is disgusted. She knows she needs to do something as she takes it out.

Kevin is outside staring at an article of Chelsea and Dean being heroes. Shirley walks up behind him and says he takes after his mum. Kevin says that he has the same way of operating. Get himself in trouble then runs away. Shirley asks him what has he done now.

Roxy is chasing after the kids when she falls, and a cute guy helps her up. She’s distracted and doesn’t notice the kids are gone.

Peter comes home from school and asks where Dad is. Jane asks Ian “cheap week in Spain or a long romantic weekend?” Ian says a cheap week in Spain. Jane scoffs, and Ian says he will get to see her in a bikini right? Peter says that Lucy gave him money to keep quiet. Ian is fuming, and Jane tells him to talk to her, tell her he’s disappointed. Just trust her.

Gus, Preeti, and Mickey are in the pub. Gus is teasing that Mickey doesn’t have anyone on the horizon. Preeti says he has and she smiles his special someone is out there. Mickey entirely misses her cues and says indeed she is and he met her today in the cafe. Preeti is disappointed. Peggy is lecturing Ronnie on the rules and standards when Roxy comes in boasting about how she’s scored again. Peggy asks her where the children are. Roxy asks aren’t they here? Peggy is fuming mad and tells her she is supposed to be looking after them.

Kevin tells Shirley he will have to go to the police. Shirley doesn’t feel bad for Sean. She tells Kevin that Dean is not meant for prison. He’s his dad, and he’s meant to keep him safe. Kevin walks out. Shirley asks him where he is going.

Peggy is calling Ben’s mobile. Roxy is trying to help, but Peggy sends her back home as she’s done enough damage for one day. As they walk Ben and Abi, run behind and past Peggy and Roxy.

Kevin comes in calling for Carly. He asks her if she’s watched it. She says that Sean doesn’t deserve this. Dean needs to face up to what he’s done to accuse Sean falsely. Kevin tells her he is going to sort it. She asks what is he going to do? He tells her what he should have done this morning. He tells her if Dean gets back to look after him will ya?

Ian is ready to rip into Lucy, but Jane tells him not to kick off. She answers. He asks her where she is. She tells him that the drama club is just finishing up. He again asks her where she is. Just then he sees her in Craig’s car and takes off running. Ian pulls Craig out of the car. Lucy screams at her Dad that she hates him and to leave him alone. Ian tells Craig that if he ever sees him near his daughter again, he’ll call the police.

Dot turns on the computer after lighting a cigarette. She gets scared and drapes her apron over it.

Lucy and Jane come into the house. Jane tells her she didn’t want her to see her father like that. She screams at Jane “like you care! Always sticking your nose in.” Ian yells at Lucy. Jane says to leave it as she’s just upset. Lucy says “you think I didn’t mean it? Well, I did!” Ian says I gave you the benefit of the doubt and you lied to me. Lucy says “Pay you? For what? All I ever get from you and her is grief!” Ian says “you selfish little brat all Jane has ever done for you is sticking up for you!” Lucy says oh poor Jane. Drippy cow! Ian says “how dare you!” Lucy says “What? Tell the truth? You and she are pathetic! You are a wimp, you come home smelling of chip fat. You are pathetic! She tells him that she is seeing Craig and there is nothing he can do about it. He tells Lucy that Craig is a loser. She says “NO you are the loser! It’s no wonder mom wanted you shot. It’s a shame she didn’t get the job done right!” Ian raises his hand to slap her and Lucy whimpers. He stops and says that he is sorry. He tells Lucy he’s sorry and she runs off.

Peggy comes back and is reading the riot act to Roxy. Ben tells her they went to the park then they went to get sweets. Ben gets sick. Peggy kicks out the girls once again.

Lucy is writing a new blog about how much she hates her parents. She posts it, and someone responds. It says you should run away.

Dean comes in and asks Carly where their dad is. Carly lets him know that he’s gone to the police station. Chelsea overhears.

Shirley and Kevin are at the allotments, and he’s burning the tape.
