Honey is showcasing her smiley face cookies to Yolande. Yolande says she’s done two dozen flap-jacks and Dot has lemon slices. Jase walks up behind them. Yolande asks him if he’s coming to their jumble sale later. Billy says he can probably get more clothes there, so he doesn’t have to strip in the laundrette. Honey is shocked. Yolande giggles. Honey says she’ll go over and check the lost and found box to see if there are any nice shirts or coats to sell. Yolande heads off, and Honey looks at Billy then Jase. She walks over to Jase and tells him she shouldn’t have overreacted to what she saw in his bag. He tells her it’s not him anymore and his only concern is looking after Jay. She tells him her lips are sealed, and he spies the Mitchell sisters walking up behind her. Billy asks if they had a good time. They say it was the best. Billy spies Jase and Honey talking and looks angry.

The girls walk into the pub to find it a wreck and a note from Shirley that she has the flu. They try to figure out where to start. Roxie tells Ronnie desperate times to call for desperate measures and pours a double. Ronnie tells her they shouldn’t have left, Peggy was counting on them. Ronnie pulls up her bootstraps and tells Roxie they are Mitchells and they can handle this and get it ready to open on time. Roxie doesn’t look as thrilled.

Charlie has to get the cab inspected to get it plated. He asks Carly if she could speak with Garry. She tells him that if Garry says they are busy, then they are. She says to Charlie that she can take a look at it for him after they are closed, cash in hand. Charlie is pleased.

Peter is working on the market with Billy. He helps the shopper and calls her treacle which Billy says is a bit old-fashioned. He hands the money to Billy and says that his coworker handles the money side. Peter says it’s not fair he can’t handle the money. He tells Billy his dad says a trained monkey could run the stall. Billy says it’s a little more complicated than that. He tells Peter to go get him some breakfast. Peter says he can’t use profits. Billy gets his own money out and sends him off.

Roxie brings out two bags of trash. Gus tells her that she’s just missed collection. She hands the bags to Billy and tells him to get them far away from the pub. Liquid drips out all over his boot. Billy runs off to get rid of them.

Charlie is having a sit down with Sean regarding his portion of the rent. He tells him that tomorrow is the end of the month and if he hasn’t gotten the rent, he’s out on his ear and he means it. Sean is smirking as Ronnie walks in seeking a knight in shining armor. She asks if there are any takers and he grins at her.

Max opens the calendar and sees Bradley and Stacey’s wedding marked. Tanya tells him Abi did that and she’s so excited. She wonders if Bradley minds her coming to the wedding. Max wonders why. She tells him she is the other woman after all who broke up his and Rachel’s marriage. Max says “you can’t help who you fall in love with. She wonders if he’s told his mum he’s getting married. She never saw Stacey as one to settle down. She tells him she better get their outfits sorted. He says “aren’t you jumping the gun?” She tells him it’s better to be prepared.

Sean tells Ronnie that he worked double shifts all weekend and never saw her or Roxie. Ronnie says they were climatizing themselves. He tells her she was soaking up the air in a club in Hoxton. She tells him she’s desperate. He tells her he’s sorry he has a date in his bed. Unless she cares to join him. She tells him that if he helps them out, she’ll be very grateful. He asks how grateful and she says he’ll have to wait and see.

Max answers the phone, but no one is there.

Peter is whinging to Billy and Billy is not really listening. Ronnie walks up to get her order. Billy asks if he shouldn’t be helping out as well. All us Mitchells together he says. She asks him if he can make focaccia. He says he’s not too hot on cocktails. She and Petter have a giggle at Billy’s expense.

Jane and Tanya are discussing Ian doing demolition at the house. Tanya asks if she trusts him to do the job. Jane says no choice as someone would have to pry the hammer out of Ian’s cold hands. They have a good giggle then Tanya says as long as it’s not load bearing. Jane says “load bearing?” Tanya says “I suppose he knows what he’s doing.” Ian is pounding on the wall. The dog whimpers.

Ronnie and Roxie are all set to open the pub, but Ronnie is nervous. She asks Roxie to do the honors. But Roxie loses her nail. Ronnie declares it’s only an Eastend pub how hard can it be. She pops open the locks.

Across the square, Jane is surveying the gaping hole in the wall Ian’s created. She tells him about the load bearing comment. She says she guesses it will be alright as long as the wall wasn’t holding up something. She tells him he should have listened and hired someone. She says that Tanya has offered to put them up while it’s being repaired. Ian doesn’t want to, and Jane tells him that’s good because it’s only for her and the kids. Ian turns to start at the hole.

Stacey is in the cafe. Max asks if she called the house. She asks him why she would. She tells him he can stop panicking she’s marrying his son. He invites her to meet him outside the tube to talk. Bradley calls Stacey, and she tells him she was going to phone him to see if he wanted to go to lunch. She tells him his Dad is here talking about the wedding. She asks if he wants to talk to him and hands the phone over.

In the pub, Billy is wondering why Peggy didn’t ask him to help out. Must have been that his phone was engaged. Jim is trying to figure out what Foccacia is. Deano says it’s Italian. Ronnie tells him well done, impressive. He says he’ll have to try some later as he stares at her. Gus and Deano droll over Ronnie and Roxie. Charlie tells them to simmer down. Billy is still whinging about not being asked to help. Ronnie tells Roxie to give him a drink on the house. Ronnie runs into Sean coming down the stairs. He says he’s working up a bit of a sweat for later. Ronnie tells him she needs another barrel from the stall. He tells her it’s nice and cool in there. He says “hey I thought you were going to be nice to me.” She leans in and says “I lied.” Ronnie comes in, and Roxie spills a drink on her. The men are excited and cheer. Ronnie smirks at them and heads out. Sean is shifting barrells, and Mo walks up and says she could have done that. She tells him she can help him shift them if he likes. Sean smiles a grin. Inside Dot comes in looking for the jumble food Peggy left. Roxie tells her it’s in the hall. She asks Roxie to remember that they will need volunteers. Roxie tells her she will spread the word.

Ian is on the phone and yells “three weeks? It’s just one little wall!” He hangs up and steps in the trash. He leans down and picks something up and looks across the square at the pub.

Jim is talking to Deano and Gus as they are relaying to him about Ronnie’s wet shirt. Jim is sad he missed it. Jim is going on about a wet t-shirt contest. Dot walks up behind him, and he stops in his thoughts.

Ian walks into the pub after dumping the trash out front. He brings in a coaster and tells Roxy it’s theirs. He tells Billy to get out and back to work. He asks her who she is and she tells him Roxanne Mitchell, but her friends call her Roxy. He says “Mitchell?” She asks him who he is. Dot tells her he’s Ian Beale. He tells her he owns the cafe and the chippy. Jim pipes in with “our local entrepreneur” and Deano calls him the local tightwad. Ian says the coaster and trash are a health hazard. She tells him to take it up with Ronnie. He asks who that is and she tells him it’s her sister. He says “another Mitchell, just what we need!” Roxy rolls her eyes.

Silly eats an apple on stall. Peter wants to get off to training and Billy tells him to go along. Honey walks up with a bag for the jumble sale. She shows him the takings and says she thought Jase might buy them. Billy says “you what?” Honey reminds him that he said Jase needed more clothes. He tells her that Jase is after her. She says he is not and he just needs friends. Billy is jealous, and Honey tells him it’s not like that. She says she has things to do and heads off.

Ian is headed up the stairs yelling out “Hello!” He looks in the sitting room as Ronnie opens the bathroom door. He startles her and apologizes. He stares at her chest, and she asks him what he’s looking at. He says her sister sent him up about the bag of rubbish. She wonders what he’s talking about. He tells her that a bag of rubbish, two actually were left against his wall. He’s staring at her chest again when he says two actually. Ronnie calls him a sicko and that he’d heard someone talking about her downstairs and came up to have a look. He swears it weren’t like that and he tells her to ask anyone as she’s chased him into the pub. Gus says’ he’s blushing. Ian runs out, and Ronnie tosses something at him. The whole pub is cheering. Deano is happily sipping his beer and stares at Ronnie.

Outside Mo creates a diversion to shift a barrel into a van. Yolande takes notice.

Jase helps Honey and Billy spies it as he’s cleaning up the stall. He’s not happy.

Dot heads into the cafe with Peggy’s food for the jumble sale. She goes to smoke, but Jane reminds her that there is no smoking. Dot declares “how am I supposed to soothe my nerves? Them Mitchells have only been here a few days, and they’ve already turned Queen Vic into a den of iniquity! Harlots!” Tanya walks in behind Dot to hand Jane a key to the house. At a table, Bradley and Stace are discussing the wedding. Bradley says they could have a theme. Stacey says she’s not doing it and isn’t walking about with buns on her head from Star Wars. Max comes in and sits down with them. Bradley tells him they were just talking about the wedding. Max asks if he’s told his mum yet. He says no. Max convinces him he should go to see his mum tonight. Bradley invites Stacey, but Max convinces him to go by himself. Max leaves, pleased with himself.

Ian comes in and yells at Jane “before you start the only builder that can start this week is 5 grand, and I haven’t booked him because I wanted to get another one!” Jane tells him he doesn’t have to bite her head off. She said it wasn’t about that anyway, that Dot was just in telling her about the Mitchell girls. He tells her he hadn’t noticed them.

Back at the pub, Sean is pleading his case to Ronnie. Yolande has come in to tell her what she’s seen. He tells Ronnie he was just getting rid of an empty. Ronnie tells him “do I have mug tattooed up here?” as she points to her forehead. He tells Ronnie that Peggy gave it to him for services rendered. Ronnie tells him to stop being a prat. Roxy asks if everything is ok. Ronnie tells her she has it handled. Sean says he’ll bring it back. Ronnie tells him he won’t be getting his wages. He yells at Yolande for sticking her nose in it. She tells him wrongdoing doesn’t deserve reward. Perhaps if he put his efforts into something more worthwhile. Roxy says “hang on do you still need volunteers for the jumble sale?” Sean says NO NO NO

Bradley is going on about how it’s a good thing his dad encouraged him to go see his mum. Stacey wonders what he means. Bradley says it is a sign he’s coming around. Bradley says it’s funny that after all these years his dad is finally caring and will be there front and center. He tells Stacey he only plans to do it once, getting married. She tells him he’s going to miss his train.

Charlie is at the cafe raving about the food they are serving, and it’s much better than Peggy’s Shepards Pie. Ian tells Jane he’s going over there to see what all the fuss is about. She reminds him he’s already been there. He tells her he wasn’t looking at the food, was he.

Sean is wearing a frilly apron, and Yolande is instructing him on what to do. He tells her he’s not doing this and goes to take off his apron. She tells him she wouldn’t want to be in his shoes when Peggy finds out what he did. He says there are other jobs. She says not if Peggy calls the police. He reluctantly puts the apron back on as Mo walks in. He tells her that he shouldn’t have listened to her. She pipes back he should have been lighter on his feet! She steals a fairy cake and walks away.

Dot has her eye on a vase and makes a note to Yolande that she wants to purchase it. Yolande tells her she’ll have to wait the ten minutes until they are open. Jase is showing Honey a shirt, and she tells him he should try it on. So he strips off his shirt, and all the ladies have a stare. Billy walks in and asks him if he has a hard time keeping his kit on. Honey chastizes Billy. Yolande asks him and Jase to help with a table. Jase goes over and carries it alone. Billy is upset.

Ian is in the pub staring at the menu. Ian asks her what her game is. She says “sorry?” He tells her his cafe is like a ghost town. She tells him that she isn’t holding a gun to their heads. He tells her that is more of her sisters’ style. Ronnie tells him he should not go there. Jane comes around the corner telling Ian not to start. Ronnie says “you’re not with him?” Jane says “I’m his wife,” Ronnie says “Well my sympathies I wouldn’t have him if he was the lucky bag,” Roxy asks Ian if he’s put his eyes back in yet. Jane is confused. Roxy goes on about how he couldn’t stop staring earlier, and Ronnie had to chase him down the stairs. Jane says “You were upstairs?” Ian tells her it was about the rubbish. Jane says to Ian “So when you said you weren’t looking at the food?” Jane rushes off, and Ian follows behind. Ronnie asks if it was something she said.

Max is in his car. His phone beeps. He gets a text from Stacey that tells him not to wait. He starts the car and heads off.

Ian walks into the house and puts on his mask. He picks up the sled hammer and looks at it.

At the jumble sale, Mo and Dot are fighting over the vase Dot wanted. They go back and forth, and the vase is dropped and breaks. Dot looks at her and says “see what you did!” Yolande tells them one of them will have to pay for it. Sean takes off and tells her she’s got her money’s worth. Yolande asks Billy to sweep up the vase. He agrees but is staring at Honey and Jase chatting. Sean leaves and runs into Carly. He tells her not to ask.

Ian is smashing the wall.

Max answers the phone again, and no one is there. He says “Stace,” but the phone goes dead.

Dot and Mo are bickering. Billy asks if Dot needs a strong man to carry that home for her. He volunteers Jase. He makes a fool of himself and Honey is upset. She asks him what he did that for. He says he saw her and Jase laughing and talking. Honey is upset. Billy continues, and Honey wants to know what he’s incinerating. She tells him she’s going to pick up Janet. He tells her he’s not finished yet.

Ian is cleaning up, and Jane walks in. She tells him the kids are at Tanya’s. She apologizes to Ian. She tells him he’s doing a great job. She goes off to make a cupper. He tells her “you do know she’s exaggerating,” Jane says more like stirring. A loud crash happens. Jane walks in to see a gaping hole in the ceiling. She calls him a … MORON!

Honey tells Billy she can’t believe he just did that in front of all their friends. What will they think? He says the same thing he’s thinking. She says they are just friends. He says they’ve been joined at the hip since he showed up, laughing and talking. Honey tells him it’s not like that. Billy tells her that Jase fancies her. She says again it’s not like that. He says today she’s giving him shirts, what’s she going to give him tomorrow. Honey turns around and asks him what he just said. Billy says he didn’t mean it as it sounded. He knows he’s gone too far. Honey asks him if he’s going to follow her around everywhere from now on. He says no. She tells him “a marriage is built on trust. If we haven’t got that then what’s the point?” She walks away, and Billy realizes he’s messed up.
