Tanya is rushing breakfast. Abby tells Ben they should have gone while her parents were asleep. Ben accidentally drops his toast on his shirt and Tanya tells Max to go to the Vic to get him a new shirt. Ben says it’s ok he will go.

Yolande wakes Patrick up on the sofa. He begs for her forgiveness and sweet talks her. Yolande tells him that he has a lot of making p to do.

Kevin is trying to help Denise see the situation for what it is at her job. Denise doesn’t think he’s funny.

Stella is staring at Phil when she spies Ben sneak past. Ben goes to his room. He’s packing his backpack and adds in Kathy’s photo. As he finishes Stella burst in asking him if it was a good night. Ben says it was ok. Stella says she thought they agreed that he wasn’t to be friends with Abby anymore. Ben says it just happened. Stella tells him that nothing happens. People make things happen. He’s lied to her, and she doesn’t like liars. Liars need to learn the hard way. As she is glaring at him, Phil walks in, and she switches to happy and excited and tells Phil Ben was telling her about his night. Phil says he must be excited for the last day of school. Phil turns to head off, and Ben says he’s going to walk down with him. Phil asks him what is in his sack and Ben says they are allowed to bring board games. Phil says that’s lucky of them. Stella tells Ben she will see him at the gate, after school. Ben looks scared and Stella seems determined. Phil misses it all.

Yolande is chatting with Honey and Pat about her trip in the cafe. Pat tells her what happened is not what she thinks. Yolande tells her that she knows. Lightning doesn’t strike twice in the same place.

Ben and Abby are discussing when to make their getaway since Stella is going to be waiting for Ben at the gate. Tanya is getting Ben and Abby ready to go to school when Max comes in with Preeti on the phone. It seems the boiler is leaking. Tanya says that Max will have to get the kids off to school. Max says he can’t. Ben pretends to call Ian after telling Tanya that Stella is gone. He says that Ian can take them. Abby gives Max an extra long hug. They go out and pretend to leave but head upstairs.

Pat rushes out of the cafe with Honey. Jay comes in and is rude to Honey. The same group of kids teases Jay again as Yolande scolds him. She tells him that he’s not being picked on by her, she knows him and has an interest.

Ben and Abby discuss where they are going. They determine they are going abroad. Abby wonders where her passport is. Abby wants to go to Scotland.

Gus is writing poetry about Wellard. Mickey takes out the DVD’s and tries to hide them from the police who are there about Wellard.

Ben takes money out of Tanya’s wallet. Abby says they can’t do that. Ben says they’ll pay it back. Just then Tanya comes back, and they barely hide in time. She grabs her wallet and heads back out.

The police see the DVDs and say to Mickey to get it gone so not to get Gus in trouble. She says they’ll do what they can to find Wellard. She flirts with Gus, but he doesn’t catch on.

Abby and Ben argue about Marge 1 and Marge 2 going with them. Ben says they can’t go.

Mrs. Masood comes in, and Denise apologizes about yesterday. Mrs. Masood tells her to apologize then. Denise says she’s sorry. Mrs. Masood tells her the exact words she said. Denise is scared, and Mrs. Masood makes a joke of it. Denise tells her that she feared she would sack her. Mrs. Masood tells her that she’s a hard worker and wouldn’t. Denise takes the opportunity to ask about the manager’s job.

Ben and Abby are hiding out trying not to get caught. Patrick comes in with roses to sweet talk Yolande. Ben sneaks in to get supplies. As he’s preparing to go out Stella walks in. Stella chats with Yolande about the wedding. Ben listens in.
Meanwhile, Tanya walks in to put clothes away in Abby’s room and spies Marge’s cage open and empty. Ben is on the phone asking about the coach to Scotland. Abby is checking the Marge’s, but one is ill. She says that she needs to go to Fin, the vet. Ben says that he’s going with or without her to escape Stella.

Kevin and Denise are in the Vic, and she tells him her good news. Kevin reminds her that the job has not been offered to her yet. Denise tells him no one else has applied. Patrick is licking his wounds to Shirley and Burt. Burt asks Kevin what his secret is. Kevin gives him some tips.

Abby runs into the vet, and he welcomes her. Ben tries to rush the vet. Abby explains the issue to him. He asks where her mum is. He says he can call her at work. The vet says to have a seat then leans into his receptionist and says to phone the Brannings.

Tanya and Max are hunting for the guinea pigs when the phone rings. It’s the vet telling her where Abby is.

Gus is handing out fliers for lost Wellard and a reward for finding him. Burt says he’ll help him, but it will cost. Gus pays him to hand out fliers.

Max walks into the vet. Abby yells out “Dad what are you doing here?” Ben says the receptionist phoned him. Ben says he knew they shouldn’t have come in that it is all Abby’s fault. Max tells Ben to leave it. Abby says she didn’t want to run away. Max tells her to save it until she gets home and that Tanya has already called Stella. The vet walks out, and Abby asks him how she is. He tells her that Marge 1 is pregnant and Marge 2 is a boy. Ben says he doesn’t want to go home. Max says he hopes Stella has calmed down by the time they get home. Ben looks petrified.

Yolande comes in to find Patrick preparing dinner. She gives him a hard time, and he throws in the towel. She tells him to make reservations and chuckles as she hands him the phone.

Jay is chatting up the gang of boys who have been hassling him. They tease him about Yolande being his mum.

Denise is in the post office when Mrs. Masood walks in with Shabnam, her daughter.

Tanya is having a go at the kids while Stella stands there. She screams at them, and Stella tells her shouting won’t help. Stella takes Ben home as he protests about going home. Tanya tells Abby she is not a pushover like Stella and Abby begs her not to hurt her.

At the Vic, Stella is unpacking Ben’s sack. He says it was Abby’s idea. Stella tells him to shut up you sniffling little coward. Just then she finds his photo of Kathy. He tells her to give it back. She says “maybe you’re not a Mitchell after all. He asks what she means. Maybe your mummy pretended you were when you were really someone else’s. She drops the photo and says that his secret is safe with her. He cries, and she tells him that he knows the rules. Ben pushes up his sleeve in tears

Tanya is trying to figure out why Abby would want to run away. She tells them she doesn’t want to get hurt like Lauren. They are confused. Abby explains that Max told her Lauren had no choice and had to put up with it. Max says she’s got it wrong. He says he was talking about and then tells Tanya to explain. Tanya explains using Marge and her pregnancy as an example. Abby wonders if Lauren is pregnant. Tanya explains what it means, and Abby still says she doesn’t want to grow up so Dad will keep loving her.

Jay is walking to the garden and goes to see Wellard. He takes a photo and sends it to Gus.

Yolande and Patrick make up. She talks about Jay and trying to help him. Patrick confesses as to how Jay blackmailed him. Yolande sets off to teach him some respect.

Ben is begging Stella not to tell his Dad that he tried to run away. Stella says to swear on his dad’s life that he will never be friends with Abby again. Stella keeps her promise in front of Ben. Stella finds Bens’ phone ringing, and it’s Abi.

The gang of boys teases Jay that his babysitter is on patrol. Jay is rude to her. She gives him another chance, and he says a horrible thing to her about her color. Shirley hears him and Jay runs off.

Abi is outside and yells up to Ben that they got it wrong. Ben tells her to go away. Stella walks in and hears Abi yell that Stella shouldn’t be doing those things to him. Stella glares at Ben and tells him that lunch is on the table.
