Stella and Peggy are making party bags for her hen night. Stella offers Phil some chocolate, but he scoffs and walks out. Peggy notices his distance. She follows him to the sitting room where she asks him what is going on. He tells her nothing is wrong. She says him if they’ve argued then they should talk it over. He tells her that they have not. Peggy tells him to give her a bit of attention, and tell her what she wants to hear. He wonders what that is. She says him to cuddle Stella, and a bit of what any woman wants to hear the week before she gets married, tell her that you love her. She tells him that there are all sorts of marriages. Peggy tells him that she won’t find a better mother for Ben. Phil looks troubled.

Max is ringing the bell at Stacey’s to no avail. He peeps in the mail slot and sees her coming down the stairs. She asks if he wasn’t listening to last night? She reminds him she said no. He tells her that is not why he is there and pushes a wrapped package through the slot. Stacey picks it up and reads the note to her and Bradley. It’s from Tanya, Max and the girls. She opens it to find a framed photo of them all at the Vic the night of their engagement.

Stella is in the kitchen when Phil walks in. He admires her packages, and she says to him that it’s the least she can do for the ladies giving up a night with her. He says to her that is why he’s marrying her, always putting others first. Stella tells him that was sweet. She thought he might be angry with her about the house and everything. She tells him that she doesn’t want the house or more children. She says that he and Ben are all she needs.

Minty is explaining to Shirley why he got a sheep. He thinks it’s funny and Shirley tells him to order a tart instead. Phil tells Shirley to keep the drinks flowing upstairs and make sure the ladies have a good time. He pays her to do it. Shirley makes a call and hires someone and then asks for Dirty Mary’s number.

Carly and Sean are in the kitchen. She asks Sean to get tested. He teases her and asks her if she thinks he might be pregnant. She tells him it’s for peace of mind since he was a soldier and all. He asks her if she’s been tested. She says him compared to him she’s practically a nun. He tries to lure her back to bed, but she tells him not until he’s been tested.

Mickey and Li are snuggled on the settee in the apartment surrounded by DVDs. She tells him that she will shift them soon. He says he never thought about a career that involved turning dodgy DVDs and growing weed. She says to him that it’s just a way to move money from someone else’s bucket to her own. She reminds him that she cares for her mum since her dad passed away and it’s a way to help keep a roof over her mums head. He says he’s just looking towards the future, their future. Li doesn’t look happy.

Minty leaves the sheep in Kevin’s care and gives him cabbage to feed it. Kevin isn’t sure what to do with it.

Stella comes down to the bar looking for Phil. Shirley has a go at her telling her she should get used to him disappearing. Heather walks in with her karaoke machine. Stella seems puzzled. Shirley asks her if Phil didn’t tell her about Heather spicing up her hen night with Karaoke? Stella says of course he did.

Phil is over at the arches and wonders what Minty is up to. Phil says he’s thinking of putting a few hours in at the garage. Minty teases him that he’s already trying to escape and he’s not even married yet. Phil takes offense. Minty quickly covers and says that Stella is a top bird. He gets a call and has to rush out.

Carly is on the phone with Sean. He tells her that his news is good and she’s pleased. She thanks him for going. Sean is sitting on the sofa at home and says her he’s just leaving the clinic and will have to head straight to work. He smirks and is pleased with himself.

Minty, Billy, and Kevin are in front of the Vic discussing how the sheep escaped. Minty says it chewed straight through the rope. Kevin tells him that Little Bo Peep he ain’t. Billy tells him maybe he’s made his way back to the city farm as he was missing his mates.

Bradley walks up to Stacey. He asks her if she’s opening up. She tells him no, she doesn’t care about the store. She asks him why they can’t run away and get married abroad. He says to her “what and disappoint our families? They’d kill us” Max walks out of the Minute Mart to see Stacey and Bradley embracing. They walk into the cafe for a coffee. Dot says “look at those starry-eyed lovers if ever I saw them,” She tells Max that it is up to them to help them get moving on the wedding. Max says he doesn’t want to talk about it. She walks off, and he calls after her.

Patrick and Pat are outside the Minute Mart discussing the evening at the bookies. She reminds him anything goes. He excitedly opens a matchbox. Minty runs past chasing after the sheep.

Max and Dot are discussing Stacey when Dot tells him that her mum manic-depressive. Max takes it to the extreme and says what if Stacey has problems and turns out like a nutter like her mum. He worries about them and their kids in the future. He wonders if Bradley even knows. Dot wonders if she should say something. He tells Dot he’s just trying to look after his boy.

Phil walks into the sitting room and compliments Stella on how beautiful it looks. She thanks him for organizing karaoke. He is puzzled and then covers and says he wants to make sure she has a good time. He thinks he should be up by midnight. Peggy ushers in Honey. Peggy catches Minty coming out of Ben’s room. She asks him what he’s up to. He says he’s just looking for Phil.

Downstairs the guys are gathering. Kevin wonders what his Carly is doing with a guy like Sean. Minty comes in and says that the sheep is locked in Ben’s bedroom. Max pulls out fuzzy pinky cuffs and says why don’t we give him a proper humiliation right on his doorstep. Phil comes into cheers.

Stella tells Heather they aren’t eating yet. Shirley tells her that she’s hypoglycemic. Jane calls Stella over. Tanya tells her that Jane was treating them to Ian’s mating rituals. Denise says she calls Kevin “Mr. Love Handles,” They asks Stella to share, and she is incredibly uncomfortable. She says she’d rather not. Honey says she feels the same. Peggy says to Shirley that the glasses are empty. Shirley starts to pour, and Tanya says none for her. They figure out Tanya is pregnant and everyone celebrates.

Downstairs the men are talking about how important sex is to a marriage. Max goes on about his philosophy of how time goes by, and she gets lazy, she thinks you don’t fancy her, and you don’t love her. But the truth is you don’t fancy her, and you don’t love her end of story. Phil asks Max for his secret then and how he keeps Tanya happy. Minty wants to turn the music up. Phil says not too loud. Minty pops off with “Phil is she going to be your wife or your mum?”

Bradley, Stacey, and Li are sitting in the Vic, and Bradley lets it slip how in love Mickey is with Li. She gets extremely uncomfortable and says she’s going to pop out to grab her phone.

A sexy barrister walks in looking for a Philip Mitchell. Phil tells them “what did I tell you about this.” She tells him not to tell her how to conduct herself in her own courtroom. She says he’s been a very naughty boy and it’s now time to be judged. She tosses her whig on him and proceeds to strip.

Patrick walks into the bookies and Pat is confused.

Phil is wondering who ordered the stripper. They guess it must have been Grant. They toast to Grant. Upstairs Heather is doing karaoke. The ladies asks Stella what she’s wearing on her big day. She will only say it’s white. Honey asks if her Mum helped her pick it out. Stella says that her mum was too busy. Honey asks if her mum does work like she does. Stella says no her mum is a housewife and does loads of things. Shirley eggs Stella on to sing. So Heather picks out Barbie world for her. Stella is having a hard time, and the ladies are laughing. She runs out. Peggy chases after her. Peggy says to Shirley “I don’t know what your game is but get yourself down behind that bar” Stella lets out a scream as she finds the sheep in Ben’s room. Peggy is screaming for Minty, and the guys all leave. Max walks over to Bradley’s table to say hello. Stacey makes her way out. Shirley asks Phil if he’s calling it a night. He says no he’s off to get a curry. Shirley flirts and says she bets he likes it hot.

Mickey comes in and finds Li packed up to leave. She tells him she moved in too soon. Mickey says he probably scared her talking about their future. She says she needs to go. She wants to do her work, and take care of her mum. He tries to stop her, but she’s made up her mind.

Stacey walks into Dot’s and gets her bag. Dot asks her if she can have a word about her mum.

The bookies are full of gamblers and smokers. Patrick takes out his matchbox and opens it to a prized cockroach. Back at the Vic Peggy is chasing down the sheep, and cursing Minty.

Shirley walks into the curry shop. She tells Phil she was feeling peckish. She says to him she has some mango chutney in her fridge.

Patrick is racing his roach, and he wins. He gets so excited he knocks off the track and the cockroaches onto the floor. Pat tells them that is it and they are all out. Patrick breaks his finger. Jim pleads their case. Pat doesn’t have it.

Max and Tanya come in making out. He tells her he’s back on his game. She says him not to move. Stacey is at the door. Tanya lets her in, and Stacey is right mad. She asks him if it made him feel like a big man having a go at her mum calling her a nutter behind her back. He tells her to calm down. She screams at him that he makes her sick, and he’s nothing but a snake in a cheap suit. Tanya looks at her and Stacey tells her to asks him what she means. Stacey storms out and Tanya looks at Max.

Shirley is trying to tempt Phil with vodka. He turns it down. They make small talk. Shirley asks him about Stella. She wants to know what they talk about every day. Do they have any shared interest? Shirley is trying to make him see how dull his life is now that Stella is in it, and Stella is a step up for him. She offers him a toothbrush and to stay there. Phil tells her she’s a proper naughty girl. She tells him it was worth a try. Shirley tells him she’s going to have an Irish and what will he have? He says just a coffee. Back at the Vic upstairs, Stella is harming herself. Shirley continues to try to show Phil that Stella is not for him and that she fancies him. She tells him that if he marries Stella, he’ll be making a big mistake.
