Jim questions Bradley about what will happen if Stacey doesn’t want to go. Bradley thanks him for the vote of confidence. Dot says what Jim means is that they don’t want to see him get hurt. Bradley thinks Stacey will be keen to run off to Paris with him.

Keith is on the phone with Rosie telling her about how beautiful little Summer is as Dawn walks in. Keith lays into her about how she was out all night, and he had to cope with Summer having a rough night. Dawn pipes back that he looks like he managed. Keith tells her he shouldn’t have to.

Phil tells her no, Ben is to call him later. She cues him to call and Phil says no, don’t want to smother the boy.

Bradley asks Stacey to lunch at a French restaurant. Stacey says she’d rather go to the Queen Vic re-opening.

Mickey is trying to help Dawn recuperate. Keith comes in to get Mickey for the opening. Dawn says to wait for her, and she’ll go. Keith tells her that she needs to stay, rest and take care of her baby.

Peggy is welcoming everyone to the grand opening. Everyone in the crowd is restless and well it’s not much of a crowd either. Peggy goes on and on, and everyone just wants her to open the door.  Peggy finally cuts the ribbon and opens the door. They all rush in to see that not much has changed. Dot is smoking, and Peggy tells her that she can’t do it. Everyone is talking about how it doesn’t look any different but as Peggy approaches they all tell her how grand it looks. Bradley comes in late and shows Stacey a book on Paris and invites her away for the weekend.

Keith is chatting up Marco about the changes and architectural changes. Peggy pulls Marco away to tell him that no one notices the changes. Burt and Pat are chatting on the sofa talking about how nothing is changed. Peggy tells her that Pat was wrong about the no smoking ban. Pat tells her that it will be different when the free booze and food runs out.

Stella is upstairs working. Ben rings in and Stella tells him how much she’s been missing him. She tells him that his Dad is missing him too and he could always come back early. Ben turns her down, and Stella gets nasty and hangs up on him.

Minty and Garry are outside chatting. Dawn walks up and offers up Uncle Minty to babysit. He turns her down. She says she can manage on her own.

Dot passes by Stacey and notices the Paris book. Dot asks Stacey if Bradley has told her about going away. Stacey says yes he’s full of surprises. Dot thinks she looks happy. Stacey says who wouldn’t be happy being whisked off to Paris. Dot says she’s ever so happy to hear that as she was worried about it all since they’d just gotten back together. Dot says she knows it will be a lot, leaving her family and all. Stacey is confused.

Carly walks in and questions why Dawn has the baby in the pub. Dawn tells her to stop thinking and stop drinking. Carly is taken aback, and Dawn tells her to give her a drink too and bring it outside.

Stacey walks up to Bradley as he is chatting with Jim and Patrick.  She tosses the Paris book at him and walks out. Carly takes out an orange juice to Dawn. Dawn is snarky and tells Carly she should stop thinking and go back in and bring her out an OJ with the double vodka.

Pat comes out of the lou to find the pub empty. She points it out to Peggy that it’s pretty dead in there. She asks Sean where everyone is, and he tells her outside. She goes out and says that their fag break is over and they need to come inside. They don’t pay her any attention. She offers them another free round of drinks to get them inside.

Stacey is yelling at Bradley as they walk out of the pub. She tells him that he thought he could take her away on some dirty weekend to Paris and she’d just want to move there. He says that is not what it was like. She tells him that she expected him to not lie to her. He thought he could surprise her. He says that maybe he went about it the wrong way. She says “ME living in Paris?” He says yes! He tells her that maybe he got it wrong and it’s him she doesn’t want to be with.

Ian comes into the cafe and says it was just stale sandwiches. Jane says her errand was more fruitful.

Dot comes along to find Bradley and tells him a penny for his thoughts. He says they aren’t worth that much. She apologizes for messing things up. Dot gives Bradley some wisdom and asks him what is important and the right thing to do.

Shirley asks Peggy if she can take a smoke break. Peggy says yes but hurry so they can get ready for the lunch rush. Shirley laughs because the place is empty. Outside Dawn is making a fool of herself. Garry takes Summer from Mickey and carries her to Dawn and tells her that her daughter needs changing. Dawn is angry because the two blokes she was chatting up have run off. Dawn runs off. Garry follows.

Dot tells Bradley he can’t throw his career away. He’s not tossing his career away just figuring out whats important. Bradley is off to turn down the job. Dot implores that he stops and thinks about this. Bradley reassures Dot it will be ok. Dot is upset and grabs her sweater.

Shirley is searching for her magazine. Stella walks in and asks if she can help her. Shirley says she’s looking for her magazine. Stella says she threw it away earlier. Shirley pipes back that there was an article in the magazine that would have helped Stella “50 ways to please your man”. Stella calls Shirley a tart. Shirley says “Oooh posh lawyer bird has a gob on her. Has Phil heard you talk like that or was that what attracted him to her in the first place.”  Stella walks out. She comes back asking how much will it take to get her out today. Shirley tells her that it’s not enough and she’ll find she’s a bit more expensive than that. Stella tosses the money at her. Shirley says’s “Oooh it’s a pleasure doing business with you.” Stella tells her she’s sure it’s not the first time she’s ever had to get down on her hands and knees to get money. She tells her to get out of her house and calls her a cheap, dirty old bag. Stella storms into Ben’s room.

Dot tells Stacey what is going on. Stacey tells her she doesn’t want him to lose his job over her. That she didn’t want to move to Paris, but that is not what she wants him to do. Dot implores her to go after him.

Dawn is rude to Garry, and he goes to check on the baby.

Stella is in Ben’s room and picks up his model figures, and she tears them all up in a fit of tears.

Stacey calls Bradley asking him to call her straight away.

Stacey takes a cab off someone and heads to stop Bradley.

Seans asks if he can leave early. Shirley says she can go round up the smokers. Peggy says she’ll go. She finds just Pat sitting there. Pat has a go at her.

Bradley is at his desk and looks at the clock. He’s written a resignation letter and signs it. He looks worried.

Dawn wakes up to find Garry asleep with Summer. She smiles and takes the baby. He wakes up. She apologizes for earlier. He says what friends are for? She says you are more than a friend though aren’t you? You are a prince. He tells her she’s going to make a great mom. She kisses Garry on the cheek and calls him her knight.

Bradley goes into his bosses office. His boss asks if they are still on for dinner. Bradley says yes. Mr. Andrews asks for his decision. Stacey shows up and knocks on the door. He goes out to see her, and she tells him they need to talk.

Dawn is cuddling the baby, and Keith offers to make a bottle. She says he can do one better and feed her so she can go have a soak.

Bradley tells Stacey when is she going to stop hiding? She says she’s not. He says “you love me, Stacey, you love me the same way I love you” She begs him not to resign. He says he won’t if she will go to Paris with him.
