Stacey gets a package from Spain. Sean wants to know what it is and who sent it. She tells him it’s none of his business. He says her he always finds out. She opens it, and it’s a case but nothing more.
Shirley’s boyfriend is sleeping on the settee, and she comes out of her room looking disheveled and upset. Across at the car lot, Kevin spies someone sleeping in the front seat of a car. He bangs on the back and says that the police will be on their way so whoever is in the car will want to scurry off. He’s shocked to see it’s Deano. Deano asks if he could kip at his for a bit.
Mickey and Keith plan a big breakfast celebration for Dawn and Rob’s wedding announcement. Alphabet spaghetti, hot dogs, and cherryade! Dawn is thrilled, and Rob is just happy she’s happy. Keith goes on about them living there when Rob announces they will be staying with his parents so they can get settled before the baby is born. Keith looks a bit sad.
Jim is having a go at Bradley for “turning” down the promotion. He declares that Bradley doesn’t want to live on the square forever and Dot says it never did her any harm. Bradley says it wasn’t the right time. It meant more extended hours, and not spending time with people he loves. Jim is excited to think maybe he and Stacey are courting again. Dot quotes a bible verse about love and Bradley declares now might be the right time and heads out quickly.
Shirley tells her boyfriend he’s late for work. She wonders what he will say to his mates about his shiner. He says something about her being lucky he didn’t give her one back. Shirley tells him “now’s your chance” and he goes for her as Kevin walks in. Kevin tells him that if anyone is going to belt his son, it will be him. Her boyfriend dares him but walks out in a rage. Shirley thanks, Kevin. Shirley tells him she needs to speak with Dean. He says she’s made a right mess of it and he’s not sure there is any going back. She asks Kevin to help her put it right. Kevin asks why he would want to do that?
Keith encounters Minty and Garry as they are heading into the Vic. He invites them to the big send-off in the Vic for Dawn and Rob. Garry seems upset at the send-off
Bradley comes to Stacey and wants to chat. She says she’s busy with work. He tells her it’s important and she says so is what she’s doing. He says consider him her new assistant.
Deano and Carly are chatting about the utter disappointment their mum is when Shirley walks up. Shirley tells them not to stop on her account.
Dawn and Rob are packing to leave. Dawn tells him she’s going to miss it there. Rob says what’s to lose? She says she’ll miss them all, even Ghingis. Mickey is searching for his mobile and tells that May is missing. Dawn wonders if she’s done a runner. Rob asks what that has to do with anything. Dawn tells him she’s the whole reason they had to leave the square. Dawn goes off to see if May is gone.
In the Vic, Sean and Peggy are setting up to open. Sean is sweet and tells Peggy that there is only one reason the punters keep coming in and it’s her. She smiles big and tells him to go on. Sean opens the door to Phil. Phil asks him what he’s doing there. Phil tells him he’s giving him two choices, leave on his own or be tossed out. Peggy introduces her new bar hire. Phil is none too happy about it, and Shirley is not either. Phil tells him to watch himself. Keith brings in a very sad looking going away sign for Rob and Dawn. Peggy tells him she’ll toss in crisp and nuts for his lack of budget. Sean pushes Shirley. Shirley tells him he will get whats coming to him.
Dawn and Rob go to May’s to discover she’s gone. This means they don’t have to leave Dawn. Rob tells her they still should go. He’s gotten a call for a job and wants to go so they can have a fresh start. Dawn gives in and says they can go. Rob has a weird look on his face.
Bradley asks Stacey if she is alright, but she’s bitey and snaps at him. She asks if he’s spoken to his dad and he says not since last week. Bradley tells her he’d like to talk to her about them and she runs off for lunch.
Dawn and Rob come into the pub for their send off. Carly buys the first round for them, and Keith asks for a drink on her tab.
Outside Bradley is running Stacey’s shop as she’s gone off to lunch and Chelsea and Preeti come out. She tells Bradley that the collection is not her style. Stacey comes back with lunch to tell Chelsea off as she walks up. Again inside the pub, Shirley is whinging to Phil about Sean working at the pub. Phil says he won’t be there long. He asks her about her kids, and she says they won’t even speak to her. The interior decorator is there, and Phil tells him, Peggy, better not be paying him by the hour. Dot and Jim walk in, and she laments that there is not much to celebrate as it was a failed marriage, adultery, child out of wedlock. The interior decorator quotes a bible verse, and she perks up. Jim says he doesn’t remember seeing him around before. Michael declares he is there to bring the Vic into the modern century.
Chelsea says Sean can’t keep his eyes off and Preeti wonders if Bradley will come in for a pint. Sean is not looking, and Bradley is out wooing Stacey.
Keith says it’s going to be strange without Dawn. She says he’s going to miss her. Peggy walks in to find Ghingis in the pub and blames him for her flea situation. Peggy walks up to a situation with Shirley, Carly and Deano. Peggy stands up for Shirley and sends her on her break. Kevin declares he’s going to regret what he’s about to do.
Stacey and Bradley are still working on the stall. Bradley is curious how she sells as it seems so natural. She says it’s all talking. They chat, and she declares he’s just Bradley and kisses him on the cheek. He wonders what that was for and she says for never changing. She shows him a secret to her sales and sets him off to make a deal.
Inside the Vic, Mickey starts a speech to send off Dawn. But Keith takes over and gives her a proper address to send them off and wishing them the very best in their new life together. Keith tells Rob if he breaks her heart he’ll break him. Gary walks up and tells Dawn it’s not too late to change her mind. Rob sends him off.
Chelsea says she doesn’t understand what he sees in Carly. Preeti says she thinks Carly is pretty. Sean walks up. Chelsea tells him it’s a bit of a come down from his last job. He responds that he likes it and it’s a bit more wholesome. She tells him they aren’t staying and are heading up to the Westend for some shopping and clubbing. Sean tells her if she gets bored she can come back for a quick one out back.
Dawn and Carly are saying goodbye. Michael and Peggy are going over the designs for the pub. Peggy says she wants to make it funkier. Dot sets her straight about who she’ll be inviting. Sean grabs the book and helps her make a better choice. Peggy is happy.
Shirley is on the swings. Jay walks up asking for a smoke. She tells him he’s too young. Kevin walks up. Shirley tells him she’s not in the mood for a fight. Kevin tells her he will talk to the kids if she will lay off him and Denise.
Bradley and Stacey walk into the sitting room and he tells her he is not working for her anymore. She tells him she thought it was the start of a beautiful partnership. He says why can’t it be? He invites her out and she goes to put her slap on.
Dawn comes out of the pub and looks for Rob. He’s got a nice car to take her away in. She says her goodbyes. She is so happy and content. Keith forgets to tie the cans to the car. They drive off happily out of the square.
Shirley and Kevin are talking and reminiscing about the past. kevin is stuck on the swings
Dawn is chatting about where they will live, and Rob is acting very strange. Not even talking. She asks if he is ok and he tells her he wants to get there.
Stacey is looking at the case Max sent. Bradley walks in and tells Stacey that he loves her. She tries to tell him he deserves better than her. He can’t imagine his life without her. Stacey says she’s so sorry. They go on for a kiss, but it’s awkward. They try again and this time they kiss.
Rob and Dawn pull into his parent’s house. It’s a gorgeous country house. Dawn says it doesn’t look like anyone is here. She opens the door and says hello. Dawn walks in, and Rob follows her. She comes face to face with May and Rob closes the door.
